Is the interior stitching really red?

I have the sport package and many people refer to the color of the stitching on the seats as "red". Now Ive had people tell me when they got into my car the stitching looks like a pinkish.... not red at all, and to tell you the truth if you look at it over and over again and stare at it , it does look like it has a pinkish color to it. Do you guys notice the same?

As I just posted in the Interior Colour post, I do believe it is pink. I have zero problems with it being pink.

I don't know about the stitching in your cars, but mine is certainly red. Not pink or salmon at all.

mines more maroon , it may also depend what color interior you have in how it shows up. Mines black so the red pops

Maybe fuschia? Mauve? Puce?

Or we could go fruity: Tomato (soft red)? Beet (deep purplish red)? Strawberry (lighter red)? Cherry (intense red)?

Of course those macho men with no inhibitions could simply tell their friends 'Hey, its baby pink', and dare them to say one word about it.

My wife and her friends make fun of me all the time, saying that I have pink stitching inside my car. I know its not a real red but Cmon its not Pink its more of a old skool burnt red. Oh well, i think its sexy anyways.

I have the tan leather interior with the sport pack and it's not pink or red, its tan. But I am a bit color blind so I'll have to ask my wife, but then she would just tease me too.

Maybe they use slighlty different stitch colour at different manufature periods because mine is definitely a pink colour.
