I was wondering the same thing. I have checked the price of Wix and Napa gold and they were both right around $12. I can buy 10 of the Nissan ones for $6 a piece which is half the price.

I remember seeing it once long ago Fram made Nissan. I am sure it has changed a few times over the last several years.

I buy Motorcraft or Wix a box at a time online and done with it.

The last I remember it was/is Nippon.

I don't believe Wix/Fram have ever been involved.

Well now, that narrows it down, doesn't it!!!! LOL
The reason I ask is that I stole 10 units including crush washers off of ebay the other day, and I was wondering if the quality was up to par, or do I need to re-sell them???

Umm why wouldn't they be? Are you sure they are OEM filters? If they are your fine. It might not be the best filter but it will protect your engine just fine.

Yeah, as long as it has a silicone anti-drain valve it's fine.

I guess I'll run a couple of cycles with these filters and have a UOA done, maybe then we'll know how they perform for sure. Im running the ester also, so it will be nice to compare the numbers against other UOA's on other types of oil.
