Front End Paint Protection

I do alot of highway driving and my front end is getting beaten up pretty good. I don't like the look of the bra's. Has anyone done a clear bra?

What would be a good price for an install for this? Whats the longevity? does it yellow? Does it ruin the paint after time at all?

anything else i should know?

thanks in advance.

They are expensive but worth it. I have one on my '04 Murano and had one on my '04 Altima that I traded for my Max. I had the 3M Stoneguard installed the first week I had the Max so the front end was still perfect. No problem with yellowing or anything else on the old ones.

Welcome to my world with this hwy travel everyday. I detail my car twice a week and bought some touch up paint for those little dinks etc.. Bought a nissan bra and did not like it. I have come to the conclusion that I will paint my front end every couple of years (Its only approx $250.00), I am just **** that way about my stuff, plus there is no one local around here that does it (clear bra).

I have a clear bra on my Max and my Z. I put one on every new vehicle I purchase it's the very first thing I do typically in the first week if possible...

I have the clear bra from 3M, had one on my Z too. They will quote you about 600 bucks, but you can find them/ negotiate to about 350-400, well worth the money

I put a clear bra on the first week I had the car. I went with the Venture film as it bends around complex surfaces better than 3M. Look to spend between $400-$600. A better installer will charge more but the job should be a lot better. As for the paint I had a piece reinstalled due to a bubble and after they pulled the film off I inspected the paint and it looked brand new. It was only on for about 3 months though. Hope this helps.

Go to any Mercedes, BMW, Porsche dealership see the parts counter and ask them who in the area has clear bra.
