Thanks for the pic Casper. I always wondered what the GPS unit will look like if it replaced the factory stereo. I am not digging that. Appreciate you posting that pic though.

Great find casper. I'm with you 100% on this slvr...totally not liking that look.

The rear view mirror concept does intrigue me though....

If u have a iPhone and you use it as a iPod you can get voice commands from your speakers. I use tomtom app and it's simple to get to point A to B. I got the app for free so it did not cost me a thing because I hack my iPhone and I can get apps for free. If set your opitions voice on computer u will get text to speech and well not need to look at the screen because the voice will tell u though your speakers. There some problems sometimes when your music is pause to get directions and it doesn't play your song afterwards but I think when they upgrade software it could be fix easly. But since it is free to me I can't really complain. I hope this help people who doesn't have nav.

Someone asked me about adding the Nav just like I tried to do...dealers still saying it would be very costly and they don't seem to want to do it.

It's been a few months....anyone have any luck with dealers saying they WOULD install the factory nav?

You might be able to find a dealership that will do it, but apparently they will have to practically replace the entire dash and will cost a ridiculous price to do so. The dealership I purchased my car from said flat out they wouldn't do it. Another dealership nearby told me they would do it, but it would cost a lot. So much so, that I'd be better off trading it in for a model with BT/Navi if I wanted it that bad.

I don't see how this will change over time.

But the main reason they won't/can't do it at the dealership is supposedly the harnesses are competely different between a S and SV models.

Yeah I was told the same last summer but neither would actually do it. Probably too many hours, shipping parts, etc...they want quick cash jobs I would guess. I have the SV Sport, but they still said it would require a lot of parts. I'm debating trading for a different car altogether, or swapping for a new max since i have such low miles.
