Replacement Window Motor Already

Ok so my car has about 18000 miles on it roughly and today was a pretty nice day out and I decided to roll down my windows. The only one that was working was the drivers side and the auto up/down feature stopped working though. I couldn't find out what was wrong with the other windows so I tried doing the reset and it did not work. After a few attempts I got the auto up and down to work on the drivers side window only to see that mid way down the window stopped moving and when I tried to auto roll up/down the window would not move. I have been having multiple problems with this car so I said screw it and took it to the dealership. Found out that the passenger side and the two back windows were not going down because the window lock was on, lol (can't believe I didn't think of that. When the service guy went to show me how to reset the windows the drivers side window acted up again and stopped mid way and wouldn't move until you let it sit for about a minute. The service guy came to the conclusion that the motor needs to be replaced because it is intermittently overheating causing the motor to stop working until it cools off. I can't believe that I need a new motor after 18000 miles. Anyone else have this problem?

Ya your telling me.. I would hate to have had to pay the price for that one. I have had so many problems with this car, lol. Spoiler Lifting, two rims slightly bend from pot holes, weather stripping coming off, squeaking noise from rear when going over bumps.

Kinda makes me feel guilty that my only problem in 10 1/2 months has been to be careful about pulling this car into a parking place, because the front bumper ground clearance is a tad less than on my 6th gen. I always seem to get perfect Maximas. Thank goodness.

I wish that I had your luck. I've scraped the bottom part of my bumper hence why I have the home depot lip installed on him.

Sorry to hear of your troublesome windows but thanks for pointing out I wasn't alone in my "window lockout-freakout." But other than user error, I've not seen any issue's with the windows sticking or auto-up features working.
