Powder Coating Rims Need Some Help

Ok so I have been wanting to powder coat my stock 19" Rims on the max and am leaning towards GunMetal (Don't know what shade or w.e.), or a Black-Blackish color. I have a Radiant Silver 09' What do you guys think?

I would go straight up black if I were you. That would look sharp against the radiant silver.

Absolutely GunMetal. That color looks great on a silver car. Google "silver car with gun metal wheels".

What about a metallic black? That would probably match the flaking in the radiant silver better then just straight up black. My colour blind eyes usually see more white then shiny silver in the radiant silvers hence the straight up black suggestion.

No sometimes I see some white in there so I get what your talking about. As for the Black w/ metallic I might look into that; I saw one one website that there was also like a black chrome so I'll probably be looking into those but not sure what I'll go with yet. I want a color that still shows off the Stock Rims and the only problem with the black is it hides them (you cant see them) but if I went with a gunmetal it would still be visible but look alittle sharper.

Yeah I can see what you mean. Either way it's a win-win. These are killer rims and you will be paying like 1/4 of the price of a new set. If I was going to go gunmetal I would lean towards the grey they use on skylines if you know what I mean it's hard for me to say what colour that is exactly being that like I said I am colour blind. If you went with a darker gunmetal it might still have the same effect as you are talking about with the black. Just my 0.02 cents or 0.0189181 US with current currency

Gunmetal is hard. There are different shades and finishes to gunmetal. There is lighter and darker and medium shades. Low gloss, high gloss or flat.
