Very interesting. Unusual to see totally black wheels on a white car. I remember painting the wheels on my silver '78 Datsun 200SX black. Nice smoked tails. The overall effect is striking. I'm going to look at this awhile before deciding what I think.

Well, not my cup of tea. Looks like spares on all four wheels. I just don't understand these black and white motifs people are doing with black wheels and smokes light covers - seems rather unimaginative. Maybe I'm getting old.

looks good.. now all you have to do is get rid of the egg yolk in the tail lights and maybe possibly the orange reflector in the headlight... im looking int doing a custon mod for the reflector. to me that is the ugliest part of the headlight... i love the look of your car.. its different...

thanks for posting the black wheels pics. looks nice!

I bought an extra set of stock wheels and will be getting them powder coated a dark grey next week.

Why did you decide on paint over powder coat? thanks

This is not in the realm of my taste, however I am seeing this more and more. I like the idea of making your car stand out from the average and I can appreciate the look. Hopefully this is just the beginning. I think it would look good to work the rest of the chrome out of the picture. MaxDOuT is one that has a similar modification that has been done to near perfection and 1sik has the best looking headlights I'v seen to date.
I look forward to seeing more.

love the tinted tailights. i have a 2010 black/black sport and have been thinking about tinting tailights for awhile now. where did you get the tint? was it hard to do? is it tint or vinyl?

like everything but the rims. IMO the only rims that looks good like that are black with chrome lip.

That is the way I feel also. Unfortunately, with this new Maxima wheel, the spokes go all the way out through the lip, so the chrome lip would be broken by black spokes in ten places, and I don't think that would look good. This particular wheel is a difficult design to try to 'two-tone.'

The contrast from Black to white to black again is almost too much. I'm sure in person it looks better, but I'm just not digin' the black wheels. On an 03 maybe, but on a 2010 you should have stuck with the stock color, or something different. Hell, a nice metal flake charcoal would have been better in my opinion.

Also, what about the chrome handles? They really don't fit in with this look...

Very Nice. A+ in my book.

If it was my car, i'd get the following:

-Tint (light) the lense on your side mirrors
-Tint (very light) the reverse lights
-Add lowering springs
-Add Stillen Lip
-Add black vinyl in the rear diffuser.
-Whiten the door handles

WOW gorgeous color scheme
You shud think about blacking out the chrome around the door (not the handle)
that will reallly set it off
