Be more specific. Are you talking about the mid pipe? Headers to the mufflers?

Do you mean the cats that are built into the headers? Or the 3rd unmetered cat on the y-pipe?

i took off the rear section of the exhaust...right after the rear "y" and drove it around the block....sounds like a WEAK *** Ford V6 F150 at idle...but when you get on it, then you get that nice powerful sound that i would be able to live with, if at idle it didn't sound stupid!

i will take them off again and record it.

No one has it, they welded the flange backwards on the first release, they are just now getting ready to release. Do a search you'll find a video clip with this Y pipe.

I'm sold, I'll be ordering one for my Max as soon as they become available...but I have a question, "are you guys coming out with a catback exhaust system to go with this Y-pipe?"
Because I refuse to believe stillen is the only option...

Also, onthe recording I promised...I've been at the hospital (first baby arrived on monday) so hopefully on Thursday I'll do it

looks like a great replacement but appears to be a couple inches longer than the stock unit, wonder if that would cause some fitment issues during the install....

A better sound clip would be much appreciated!!

I def want to purchase one w/ a group buy.
I also noticed the size difference in the picture. Is it just the picture that make it look that way or is it really a different size? Has anyone installed one yet?

I'm a little confused....what is this going to do for the exhaust? Are we going to get a more throatier sound or just performance? I am looking to get a more "throatier" sound from the exhaust but still have to pass inspection.

The only way I know to do this is hollow out the cats but that's definitly going to mess with emissions.

Yes you get both, 13 HP, beefier sound, listen to the video. This removes the third cat....

Do you have one and know this for fact ? or are you just making a educated guess because why would the make it longer?

This Y-Pipe was supposed to be available to purchase today, but it isn't. Has anybody been able to get a hold of them? I e-mailed them and tried to call but nobody answered. I was pretty fired up about buying one today, but now it looks like its not going to be available when they said it was.

You can't possibly tell from the angle of that picture that the top of the pipes are even. Since they've already fitted the pipes in testing and R&D I highly doubt it's longer than stock.

They're the same size.

The stock one is tilted a few degrees, so it looks shorter

I drew a line in paint from the front flange to the rear flange on the stock one, and it's the same length as the front flange to the rear flange of the Racingline one, but it's tilted.

Any update on this being made available? Just checked their site & still says 26th would have been the release date; not available to order though.

Thanks!

They replied to my e-mail today and said that they will be ready to go late Tuesday or Wednesday. The shipment got held up due to weather, they now expect the shipment to arrive Monday, they will inspect them, and turn on the online ordering.

Just wanted to let everyone know that I contacted Taz about a possible group buy and am just waiting on a response from him. I will let everyone know what is going on once I find out and hopefully I can get something going on with a Group Buy just like I did for you all before.

They are in our east coast warehouse and going through final inspection and packaging. The website sales has been activated for those of you that wish to order, however they will not likely ship until late monday or early tuesday. Thanks for the patience guys while this was getting done

No GB as they take time to set up, instead we just have an intro price that will stand for 2 weeks
