Man, I love the look of your car, the wheels the grill it's an awesome job. The only thing left is to black out the headlights and tails and you're smokin.

It's good to be unique and have your own flavor.

gordoe i got a few questions for you. i've been wanting for the longest time to black out the chrome trim on my max. from the pics you sent me it looks like the chrome trim around the windows are attached with double sided tape. am i wrong about that. im a do it yourself kind of guy and just wanted to see how i should go about taking off the chrome pieces.

Thanks to all you guys for your very nice words about my Mamba! I really appreciate it! I have a little suprise coming up in the next few weeks! I just had a little fun with the Mamba! Here are the answers to some previous questions, sorry I haven't been on here in a while posting. The tire size on the 20's are 245/35/20 and my tint is 5% rear and 40% front.

i'n not sure if the trim around the windows is double sides tape, but I can recall the body shop telling me it was some sort of glue, which double sided tape in my own mind can probably replace it. Remember that most of the chrome is just an illusion, it's painted plastic and the window trim is the only metal. Goodluck with the project man! Post up the pics when you finish it up! I would love to see it!

So I did a muffler delete on the Mamba, removed the mufflers and it has a nice growl to it, I'll probably do the Borla exhaust later on. I put on some flat black exhaust tips that were Magnaflows off of a NSX and I just got em powdercoated. I'll post up sound clips when I get a chance.

A few weeks ago I took my wheels to the powdercoater and decided to have some fun. So this is what I did. I know most of you guys won't like them, but hey the wheels were just gonna be sitting in the garage accumilating dust why not have some fun with 'em! All I can say is whether you love it or hate it, you can't deny it!

You'll get some heads turning for sure. Looks like the green lanterns car
"Project Green Lantern"

collecting dust? People would have bought those sport rims from you. The cost of them from Nissan isn't cheap at all.

Gordoe I'm absolutely lovin the look of the Max bro keep it up!! As far as the chrome door trim, I was wondering if using a dark strip of tint would maybe black it out?? Only reason being is I wanna keep the car as less possibly permanently modded as possible (if that makes sense lol)

Southernmost check out my thread regarding changing the chrome trim to black using matte black vinyl, it is inexpensive and is completely removable ... scroll down the link for photos

Thanks alot bro I'm definitely gonna look into that. What would your difficulty level be on it? Or is it more time consuming?

It was tough doing it myself but you can always look around to see if there are any places in your area that would do it

You guys have nice cars. Is there a DIY on how to springs removal on a 7th gen maxima? I searched everywhere with no luck.

Hey thanks a lot.

Why did nissan make a change from the 09 rear section mufflers to the 10 mufflers? I do not have the small resonators next to each muffler on my stock 2010.If I didnt buy the borla already and/or wont like the borla sound I will sell it and just remove the stock center piece midpipe and straight pipe that section only and leave the rear cans in place.I like the stock tip alot. Then if it still doesnt sound the way I want it i will do it in reverse.I will leave the the mid pipe stock resonator in place and straight pipe the stock mufflers and leave the stock tips in place.Time will tell.
your car is looking good.I like how well the blacked out stock chrome came out.
