Stillen RSB vs. Upcoming Racingline RSB
Stillen RSB vs. Upcoming Racingline RSB
Hello all,
I'm interested in purchasing a RSB but would like some opinion regarding if I should go with the Stillen product or wait until the end of the month for Racingline to release their version.
Here's what Racingline has to say about their RSB:
-"Stronger than anything currently available, this bar is a solid alloy bar measuring 22.2mm with adjustable settings for your desired performance level." Also includes polyurethane bushings.
The main thing I am considering is the fact that Racingline includes polyurethane bushings as I've had some noise problems going over speed bumps and think the new bushings will work to help silence any noise. On the down side, will the bushings reduce the responsiveness that the RSB will have?
Any thoughts?

22.2mm does not sound thick, my Nismo sways on my 06 where front, 27mm and rear, 24mm but I read they where not solid, stillen site does not even list how thick the RSB is or if it's solid.
Either way I would much prefer a front and rear setup, but neither company offers that

-The OEM bar is 1040 tube steel (21mm)
-The Stillen unit is solid and is also 1040 steel
-The Racingline sway bar is 22.2mm solid 4140 steel.
4140 is roughly 40-50% stronger than 1040

Thanks!
any plans for a front one, it's great that the back is tighter but the biggest improvement I found with my 06 and the addition of the front sway bar was it really improved the tightness, and kept the car on track, no more loose sloppiness
Racingline Quality work. I highly suggest go with Racingline. Taz knows his stuff and they ship fast.
BTW the endlinks for the 6th gen are great cant wait on the front endlinks to get here. I just put the rear endlinks and i already feel the difference.

tubes are more efficient at transferring load because the majority of the high torsional, compressive and tension forces are concentrated on the outer parts of the circular cross section. The middle parts of the cross section of a solid bar do nothing but add weight.
hey Guys sorry for the delay, the factory has a few snags of their own but I"m glad to announce that the bars should be in the building in 2 weeks or less. Expect to see the rear sway bar on sale alongside the rear endlinks very soon!
