20in WHEELS....what do you think?

OK HERE IS THE SCOOP:

I just bought these rims for my 2009 Winter frost (white) Maxima. I have a fully loaded premium plus tech package. i have the all black panorama roof and been looking at so many rims! After probably 100 rim choices, I ordered me 20 INCH NICHE EURO WRAPPED WITH 245-35-20 TOYO PROXES 4. I looked at some rims with lips and a staggered fitment. I realized that the deep dish lip is kind of overrated. So I got these sporty rims. MHT is the company that makes them, so they are really good quality rims. WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK? They are coming in next week... will post pics then. LET ME KNOW GUYS?

SPECS:
Niche Euro
NO LIP
NON STAGGERED
35MM OFFSET
20X8.5 ALL THE WAY AROUND
TOYO PROXES4 ALL SEASON 245-35-20

I COULD NOT FIND ANY CARS WITH THESE EXACT WHEELS, BUT I FOUND SIMILAR KIND RIMS. THESE ARE AXIS ELITE. VERY SIMILAR LOOKING.

Ya. The maxima is a very big body and 19s would have alot of space between the body and the tires. Also, the sport package comes with 19s so it's not really an upgrade unless you get bigger. I do think any rims larger than 20s are simply too big and ugly. I guess we will find out when they come in.

This style of wheel seems to be a pretty common theme amongst the Max owners. Not my style personally. If/when I get a new set of wheels they will be black multispoked wheels or BBS. We shall see.

I was never really a fan of larger wheels but those look hot and I think they would fill up to wheel wels nicely.

I like both wheels with a dish and with out. To each his own. I'm getting wheels Friday that have a lip. Like Choice89's.

jundi - you probably have them already, but I'll say that I like the style. The ones in your topic starter more than the ones ion doubler's post. I'll stay out of the diameter issue except to say that they look better when you're far enough back that you can see the whole car rather than just the fender or quarter panel.

I do hope they don't end up looking as "tucked" as the ones in the first picture, though - that looks like the suspension can't be allowed to move without getting tire rub, and the car comes off looking less useful.

If your wheel source does not provide an online way of seeing how their wheels look on any particular car, you can do your own photoshopping. Or even copy/paste/resize using a picture of your own car and pictures of their wheels in Photo Editor and Word.

About whether you'll like them after putting out the $$$$ - best I can suggest is when you get your composite picture done and printed, put it face down, walk away, and try to forget about it. Stop even thinking about wheels or looking at any others. Come back after a while (at least overnight) and see what your gut-feel first impression is then. If it's "WOW!", you'll know you've got it. If it's more of a "what...ever" reaction, you'll know what that means as well.

Norm

Man, don't worry about the opinions of others, do your thang. I like them and I would definitely allow Zhuzy (my Maxima) to wear them, just get some springs (Eibachs) and tint your windows and the look will all come together believe me.

Bro, those are off the chain and I'd definitely pimp those on my Max but Lexani are too expensive for me but worth the money IMO based on their quality.

Man,

I got to tell one thing- those Rims ARE AMAZINGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG

I have been trying to figure out the Rim thing; you have just Nailed it!!!

WoW Perfect design, very nice.

I have the same kind of Maxima; White with blk roof, sv package. I think they would look excellent on your car. They look very similiar to the AMG E class rims. Great Choice.

Can not wait to see the pics when you have them installed.

I have been thinking of getting something like these , or the doubler8's and or Elbrus from Tire rack.
See since we have the white with the blk roof; I think its best that we go with a 2 tome wheels; Polished/blk

Here is the Pic of the Ellbrus:

http://forums.maxima.org/7th-generat...er-maxima.html

4th from top

Now lets talk details;

How much are they? Size options, Weight? where can we buy they from? Do they offer them in a staggered set up?

Thanks
