You are right Hamzer, the same as mine, the dims very shortly then go off. Not a full fade as you said.

Went for a nighttime drive and I have to say that pictures don't do justice to how bright the LED's are. Only one that is not as bright is the license plate one but it's okay. I might still change the rear map lights to the boards because they are really bright up front. Definitely a worthwhile and easy mod.

Smile Nice job!

What a VERY helpful post! Thanks for taking the time. I have had the bulbs for a couple of months and finally have a chance to install them today. With your help, it takes all of the guess work out of it.

no kit. just searched for the right size bulb (mostly 194's) then decided on how many leds per bulb i wanted. went with the 9 SMT leds for the dome, headliner and doors. 25 SMT leds for the floor lights. superstar with metal heat sink for the license plate leds. Mini 3 led SMT Festoons for the vanity.

I guess I have been reading lot of posts. I am confused between V-Leds and Autolumination site. Do you know which one is better and what part numbers to order. I am very new to all this.

Thanks for your help.

I just came inside from changing all my bulbs to led..
I went to my local shop and picked up 6 sets of bulbs.. On the syvainia site they say 175, 168 or 194.. All the bulb sockets are same on our car. The choice is whether you want the LEDs shooting forward or all around and how many LEDs you want on each bulb... I picked up a couple for the footwells with abt 10 LEDs that shoot all around while the dome and doors I got a bulb with 6 LEDs that go all around.. I hope that helps a bit...

Thanks for the reply Man.

It really helps. Which shop did you pick yours at? I really would like to do them but there is so much information and they all point to different directions and not being a techy guy really doesnt help. I cam across this site
http://store.ijdmtoy.com/Nissan-Maxi..._nissan_09.htm

Is this all i need?

The link you showed should work.. The kit looks like it contains only LEDs that point in one direction like a flashlight...which should be good for the dome lights but not too good for the doors or footwell..

Like this....?? Answer is yes, but it's not just changing a bulb. all leds and takes experience and time to not mess up the lights or circuit board.

Sorry to drag up an old thread (although this is superbly useful).

The original posters link to eBay for the LED lights is dead. Would these do the same job?

4x 194 168 5-SMD White High Power LED Car Lights Bulb : Amazon.com : Automotive 4x 194 168 5-SMD White High Power LED Car Lights Bulb : Amazon.com : Automotive

Thanks!

Or any recommendation from these:-

How have these lights been? Would you happen to have any pictures, especially of the floor lights? Would your car had to have come with the footwell lighting option to need those or can I add them since my car didn't come with that lighting package?

These shots are taken at the same time, 24 hours apart once I swapped them. Only difference is 3 I had door closed and 4 was open, but you can see by 5 and 6 how little that mattered. I have 15% tint. Like I said I love them everywhere except maps are too bright, I might try and deactivate a few of them to lessen the intensity. But overall quality and color is great from the kit and couldn't have been easier

Yea I ordered the kit during a holiday sale so took advantage of some savings, but worth every penny. Just still waiting for customer service to get back to me about the one from the kit that didn't work
