2010 Maxima in Pearl White on 20"s - New rims/tires/tint/stereo

Here's some photos of my 2010 Maxima with some new shoes. I was originally planning to go with 22"s for "Ricky" aka "Shake" - but the cards played out a bit differently. After seeing the price of the 22"s I had selected (just under $2k), I decided to keep my options open and search around a bit before buying.

I'm glad I did.

I was able to get two sets of 20"s for less than the cost of those 22"s I had selected! I got a set of 20"s for my wife's '10 Altima ("Bobbi" aka "Bake"), and then these for my '10 Maxima.

Rims are 20" MSR (I believe made by American Racing), and are 8.5" wide at all four corners and are not staggered. I don't know the exact offset, but they're the correct FWD offset. The tires are Kumho Ecsta's.

I also got limo tint installed, had my Garmin GPS & Cobra Radar hardwired (to turn on / off with ignition), had a power inverter installed, had an auxillary cigaratte lighter outlet installed up under the dash (has 3 additional plugs/ports; I travel a good bit and have a lot of electronics that need charging enroute), and also had a JL Amp and (2) Audiobahn 12"s installed.

The car rides like factory. No issues with rubbing, and no noticeable difference or sacrifices made in ride quality. I did, however, notice a slight decrease in off-the-line accelleration. I believe this is due to an increase in rotating mass at all four corners; nothing that is of large concern to me, as this is not my/a racecar.

Enough babble, here's the photos:

I wish. This may be another difference between the two countries but when I was buying my Max the only white they had was an off shade white with no hint of a pearl coat.

They should as they have always looked good since the 3rd gen (which it was an extra cost option then), 5th and 7th it really looks nice. Looks good Diablo!

Can you post pictures of the radar detector and GPS. I am interested to see their locations and where/how they are hard wired. I just got an Escort 9500XI and it rocks!

Sweet but you gotta get da Drop on em with some Eibachs or H&Rs soon and a Stillen Roof Spoiler will help to set your car off from the back.

Thanks, man. MCOR is great people. I've done business with them now for several years & have successfully referred friends & family there, all of which got treated with the same courtesy as if they were taking care of me personally. Matt, Jeff & the installers/fabricaters there are all grade-A people.

I agree. Unfortunately, the wife didn't. Not that I couldn't have over-ruled her authority , haha. But fact-of-the-matter, we live in FL - summers are verrrrry hot, and she made a good point about the all black roof probably being a heat-magnet for the car. So I opted for just the single roof. But dayum, I love the way the panaromic roof looks!

That is next on the list of things to-do. Well, first is a DETAIL and an Oil Change, lol. But a drop is definitely in the cars not-so-distant-future!

Well I can check off "detail" from the to-do list! Still need an oil change, but that will have to wait until I get back from Naples tomorrow.

Here's some pics of it while I was at the country club today. Had the car detailed while I was there and took advantage of some amazing weather & sunshine!

I am very impressed I love the ride, the rims, the whole entire look and feel to your MAX!!!! I love the five spoke wheel on these 7th Gens.....one if the main reasons I went with a similar setup! Keep it clean!

Thanks man! I really liked your ride too! One of the reasons I looked into the Vossens..... But then decided against them, due to budget purposes, lol.

The Maxima looks gorgeous in white! Also I'm glad you did not go larger on the wheels. In my opinon the 22" wheels look like old stage coach wheels!

QX3 is the only color code for white Maxima's. This is a pearl coat white...just not as much and not as noticable since it's more of a pure white (as opposed to a pearl white that has more of a yellow or olive shade like an Escalade or a QX56).

hey man im new to the site and also the maxima community. I just purchased a new maxima and was wondering what your sub setup looks like. I am trying to find 7th gen setups. I also noticed you live near me. Where did you get your setup done and how much did it run you? Thanks!

This is a very nice and clean Maxima. Good Job. Would anyone know the offset to get the rims to be flush against the fender on the new Maxima?

Sorry it took me so long to respond. Been very busy in the Foreclosure world, and I haven't had much time for the forums. Just taking some time today to try and play catchup!

I had the work done at MCOR Automotive, in Pasco. If you go there, ask for Matt Meisenbach. He is the owner & a personal friend of mine, and I have been referring business to him for about 4 years now. He's done all of my personal vehicles, my wife's cars, my cousin's Altima, my mom's Jeep, etc. I have full confidence in him & his company.

My pricing was a bit different than "retail" Read above; I send him a fair amount of work, so he took great care of me!
