Aftermarket Radio in my 09 Max s

I'm really contemplating putting an aftermarket radio, moreover, the Pioneer Z110BT in my Max. Does anyone have an aftermarket radio installed?? I wanna see pics!

Metraonline.com shows all the parts and accessories needed to install. Is that what you were referring to?

i went to Crutchfield.com to check if that aftermarket radio fits our max and it says it does but if install:

installation Details for your 2009 Maxima
» If the factory radio is replaced, the factory AUX input connection will be lost.
» You'll lose your factory XM capability if you replace your factory radio.
i would like to change mine as well but i dont know..

it will fit but then you will have two scream. one on the top for just the climate control and the other on the bottom for the aftermarket radio. i might consider getting the pioneer but will have to wait till someone put aftermarket radio on theirs first..

Well I don't have XM option because I have the S model and losing my AUX is ok as the Pioneer indash comes XM, Bluetooth and Ipod ready. So I'm actually gaining. But I wanna see pics of someone who already has an indash installed. I don't wanna spend all this money and waste time only not to like the way is looks. So some please post pix!!

I ordered the metra dash kit from sonicelectronix.com, Metra 95-7427B.

http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_...mpaign=froogle

My car came with the carbon fiber stock, Im trying to see which company comes close to the same pattern. These two look the closest so far:

http://www.decalfx.com/carbon_fiber_sheets.html

http://www.topvinylfilms.com/product...Fiber-5-4.html

i have carbon fiber stock on my car too and the closest will be from www. topvinyfilms.com
btw dont you think you should install the radio first before you put the carbon fiber? cuz it might get messy during installation if the carbon fiber is already on..

I'm not hijacking this thread but it relates to what I'm going to ask:
-Is there a HD radio tuner for factory installed radios? I don't want to put in an aftermarket deck since it has a USB port, composite ports and I already have XM radio in my Max.

DaPlatinumJedi, post 10 more times and you can start your own thread. Just not in here!

Back on topic, rtitan make sure you hit us with some pictures. I just found on the metraonline.com website that everything we need is available to install aftermarket. My only beef is finding that damn VSS wire in our cars for the Pioneer Nav system. Gotta do more research. I'm going to start a sticky unless rtitan beats me to it.

No I need to know the location of the VSS wire. It's typically behind the instrument cluster. But I don't know which wire.

go into the FSM link under the how-to's sticky and click the "AV" link... buried in there is a full wiring diagram... Also if you search for the KP Tech nav bypass thread this was talked about alot.
