I don't know if anybody is already aware of this forum as it is the first time I have stumbled across it. If you read "The Nissan Maxima in Australia" you are aware they have a different "maxima" than we do here in N. America. The majority of the post by us in that thread were not feeling the looks/design of their maxima. Well I guess the feeling is mutual in some parts and in others they really liked our version. It's interesting to see the mirror image of our forum and their members and how fast their threads can spawn into a CVT war just like ours. Here is a link of someone discovering our Maxima.

You should see the prices they pay, I thought Canada was bad:

Base 3.5L Maxima: $42,000K
Base 370Z: $62,000K
Base GT-R: $142,000K

All converted from AD to USD as of 5-28-2010.

the australian maxima is a joke, looks like the older maxima with a lot of chrome trimming.

the only car that nissan has that's worth anything is the 7th gen maxima...and even then the demand is diminishing.
