I have to admit that is done nicely and I really like the way it look. Only thing I am not crazy about is the suede head liner but maybe I'd have to see it in person? I dunno. But for 50k, I'd buy myself a 'Vette.

For 50k I'll buy a 7th gen and make it unique in my own way.

That's hideous IMO. I'm really not a fan of the Maxima without a spoiler. There are a lot of cars out there that really look horrible without a spoiler, and I think the Max is one of them.

To some the paint might look very cool and unique, not seen very often and then to others it may look like it was sanded down and getting ready for a paint job! It can go many ways with this, ... The interior goes down the same, and for that type of money... ugh... no comment.

Very interesting. I'm a big fan of matte-finish paint inside my home - holds down excessive reflections and avoids that over-glossed look. But I'm not sure I would go for a matte-finish paint on my car. I think I see this just as keon718nyc does.

EDIT - keon718nyc - If the 718 in your moniker is from your birthday being July 18, then we share the same birthday, although probably fifty or sixty years apart (I'm a really old-timer).

Thats m37s money right there, I wouldn't spend that much money on a max, hell I wouldn't even put that much into a Maxima I already owned.

I think suede just looks horrible in all pictures. It's just one of those materials that annoy me when it's not all uniform i.e. not brushed one direction.

Will wax make a difference on matte surfaces?

Oh come on. 50K is a steal. Look how much we pay for the same looking stealth fighters..... Be the first on your block with a Stealth Maxi.

Um, not my cup o' tea......

I will say tho, I kinda like the seats. The suede leather there works, the rest is a bit overdone. The multi-type leather seats would be a nice option.

From what I've read, it is the paint itself giving that look. Not the clear coat. Wax will not affect it.

LOL @ 50k. Looks incomplete without the headlights done, and needs to be lowered if it even can be. The interior is sweet, but I'd tell them to rewrap those headrests real quick if I'm paying 50k.

The irony is some poor fool will get it thinking he is so cool/unique and overlook the fact that he just got but-pirated by a 700# "flat black" gorilla....lol!

the flat paint does not work on the 7th gen. I doubt they get 50k for an S base but the again there are suckers out there.

This thread should either be titled
A. Ugliest 7th gen ever!
B. Who is going to be the sucker to but this car?

as far as the price.. it is extremely over priced.. but as far as the look .. i think its sexy...the black tailights make it look great as well.. too bad most people can't think outside of the box and gravitate away from shiny cars.... so as i am interpeting it.. " if its not shiny then its ugly."

A car with so such sexy curves shouldn't be flat. Just my opinion. I don't HATE the flat look on everything, but I do on the 7th gen. Flat fits a H1 Hummer better. Even a large suv. Call it not thinking outside the box if you will, I just don't feel it on this car. Obviously the dealer liked the idea and thought others would as well. It def set the car apart from other but unique isn't alsway describing a good thing. As much as it sounds, I'm not hating on it, just wouldn't ever consider to paint mine Flat and that's not my car so you see how far my opinion goes... A+ for being unique though. A+! maybe they person who picked the paint color is the same one who priced this car out. Haha

50k, and you don't even get the NAV or LCD display for the radio??? Where are the internal upgrades besides the fabric?

Why didn't they put some lowering springs on this thing either? Or did then and I just couldn't tell...?

If the car was slammed using air suspension, came with a nice audio system, fully dynomatted, fully modded with every bolt on available for the 7th gen, & had full cattback exhaust - then maybe it would be worth 50gs.. but for this crap .. HELL NO!

Waste of money. It looks like they did a Maaco paint job, threw on some rims and called it a day. I wouldn't want that for standard price. I'd rather get a stock one for 20K less.

It reminds me of these overpriced Benz. In a lot of them: no navigation, small wheels and no factory HID's. You're just paying for the name. I'd rather get a fully loaded Acura with much more for much less.

It's kinda like flip this house, you put in as little work as possible that looks like it cost a lot and try and make the most profit, I've seen cars in dealer showrooms and Im always so disappointed when you see a Camry or any new car, with a aftermarket system that was bought at target for maybe 200 bucks, the install looks like they had dogs pry every panel off the car, scratched to hell, the price of all new panels is higher then the cost of the system, and yet their the car is sitting on the showroom floor, with an adjusted dealer markup of 5grand, time and time again I see these cars and the salesman looks at you like it's a masterpiece, but I always point out the ****ty work

You took the words right out of my mouth, I hate how overpriced the german cars are for nothing, and if that is not bad enough, now you have high priced luxury german cars with non of the cool options, being driven around with store bought navs suction cupped to the windshield, and the owners justify the car, to me thats like trying to convince people that a 4cylinder honda accord is the same as the Maxima

Flat Black?
wow this reminds me of the spray can primer I used to put on my cars after some bondo repair work. There is no way I would be "proud" to be driving that color. I do admit that i also can stand the yellow and orange colors out there so maybe I just am too conservative...

WOW!!! that thing has got to top as the ugliest maxima posted on this site. 51k grand and you can even put a $100 aftermarket spoiler.

I agree with the of the comments made here about the new maxima's rear without a spoiler.

I just bought one, i love it, but they should have welded the spoiler on and make sure it never came without it.
