Finally Got One!!!
Oh wow, I didn't know that. Black interior was one thing I was not going to opt out of. I had my mind set that I was going to have black on black interior because I've been a huge fan of it since my last car had it. It's like a cockpit inside isn't it?! I love the interior! Didn't know that was the only option for the sports though. It's a good thig that's what I wanted anyway. Haha. How do you like the black?

Either way enjoy. I'm on lease as well but the tints, and led replacement bulbs and HID fogs are going in anyway.
Congratulations. Sounds like a nice deal and looks really nice. One question if you don't mind sharing, is the $3600 down or down + taxes and fees. If so, how much was the down?

Yea, the 1200 mile break in is tuff. It was killing me having to wait to see what my car really feels like. I did feel it was important though since I plan on having the car for a while. That's another thing I liked about getting the car with so few miles on it. It meant maybe only one other person has test driven the car and that means less people had stomped it on a test drive ya know.
The aftermarket rims do look sweet on this car but I kinda feel the same way you do. With such sexy rims I really don't want them to just go to waste. I told myself if I were to ever get different rims it would be when I needed new tires on these since these summer tires cost roughly $272 each. Hey, Did your dealer opt for the summer tires for your car? It's a 100% free upgrade and helps improve the sporty feel of the sports model. Some dealers do amd some dealers don't... The best thing about the summer tires are that the are not the ****ty RSAs.

Thanks alot dude, lol I know for a fact tho my 7 gen is never gonna look as mean as yours. Ill keep a look out for your car at CSI, lol.
Thanks D-Street, I love this car soo soo much. I look for every excuse to go and drive somewhere, it makes the drive to work fun, I really love it there is absolutley nothing that i can complain about, It has everything I need, power, paddle shifters are great, the navi is awesome, bose stereo is great, xenon headlights are so sexy. I wouln't change a thing about this car!
Enjoy your car and glad to hear the great experience.
LMFAOO, I seen their pictures and was thinking that same exact thing! lol. Yea he was a great guy and he was very funny too. I dont know which manager I dealt with but he was a skinny guy with like blondish brown hair. That dealership was great they were very honest and upfront and gave me everything I needed, all the salesman came out and were congratulating me on my new car, I felt very appreciated and it was a great experience!
Oh Im noit very excited about that, lol but Im gonna do what i have to do for this car, even though it's a lease, I don't wanna rape it because the dealer was so nice to me and I wouldnt've been able to afford this car If I got it from another place. So I will do everything thats recomended for it so it has a good life with me and with the second owners when I return it to the dealer.
Congrats on your purchase. Is this your first maxima? Maxima owners are known for loyalty. I am looking at getting one to calm my driving habits until I get my 2010 Camaro (currently my dads).
Yea its my first Maxima, I can picture myself drving this for a while, I could've got a 2010 camaro but I needed a more practical car, I looked at the SS only no v6 for me in that car. I wouldn't be able to keep up with the fuel cost, that thing swallows gas like theres no tomorrow.

1st. change the oil every 3750 according to Nissan/Manufactures guidelines, don't worry about the Ester Oil, my 2 local NY/NJ dealers are advocates for using Ester oil in the Maxima, then I drive 900 miles to Atlanta where they don't even use it, clearly it must be more profitable/ different marketing in the higher income Northeast area. Any quality oil your good, my current dealer uses Penzoil blend.
2nd. air filter, change it out half way through your lease, depending on the area/driving style they can get clogged up, causing you to lose performance and get lower gas mileage
3rd. tires, Im almost at 15k and it looks like the 19's should last a good 40k, I replaced the 18's on my 06 at 40k and probably could have gone another 10k, I keep an eye on them, having many friends who have leased, they usually get dumbfounded when they have less then a year left on the lease and realize they need tires, last thing you want is to have to purchase a big ticket item like tires to return the car.
Those are really your 3 major cost for the car, don't worry about the 15k or 30k service, I only ever did the 30k on my 06 at 35k, so don't let the dealer make you think your abusing the the car.
Word of advise from someone who has leased several cars,

Thanks man, yea my next car after this one goes back will most likely be another Nissan/infiniti. By the time it goes back they should have the 8th gen or maybe a 7.5 out.
nice and clean man - time to get some tints on that bad boy
take the break in process serious man and the car will pay you back dont dog on anything until at least 4500 miles on the clock. the motor break in process is very simple and plays a big part in makin the motor see the 2 and 300,000 mile marks. the first few thousand miles is very important to as if it will be a lemon later on or be a champ. very simple keep under 3000rpm thats about it.
hey i was gonna ask man i wanna see pics of the inside i wanna see the leather seats and navigation.
i got a 4th gen with 295k miles on original engine and original alternator hahaha. tranny gave way at 280k miles due to me doing a burnout 2nd to 3rd gear.i do plan on getting the new max with income tax 2011.

I am hoping to get one next year. I want a 2011 and will wait till spring cause I won't drive it in the winter. I already have the wheels picked out which my guess nobody will have before me.
