Navigation and iPhone/ipod letter.....
Navigation and iPhone/ipod recall notice.....
I received a letter from Nissan in the mail last week about an issue with the Navigation and the compatability with ipod, iphone in my 2010 Max. Well, got my service done today, hoping this also solves the issue of the freezing up while playing. This free service also includes a full navigation software update so that saved me $99 at the dealership. Have any of you had this service done yet and has the problems with the iphone/ipod in the 2010's been fixed?

Have you noticed if it fixed your issues?
I just picked up a Sport w/ Tech yesterday and I specifically had them check to see if I had the latest version and fixes. He said it did.
I think my nav version started with 9/10 or something, I can't remember exactly.

Whats the version number of your new software? I picked up my max about two weeks ago now. One crash on the nav system and once it didn't pick up my ipod. If my version is slightly older I'd like to call the dealer now and get the update applied.
Ok, I am very unhappy and would like to know if anyone has a detailed list of what this update was suppose to fix? Today my nav crashed twice in 20 minutes and I had to pull over and wait for it to reboot. And on top of things simple well known address wont come up in the nav menu.A few side streets that have been there for many years say it doesnt exist.
I am very unhappy and want to find some answers/fix.

Calculating and Re-calculating routes are MUCH quicker now too!
