Ground clearance with Eibach springs and Stillen front lip?
Ground clearance with Eibach springs and Stillen front lip?
To you owners that have the stillen front lip and have lowered your cars with the Eibach pro kit, what is your clearance in the front of the car? It looks like the sides of the stillen front lip are lower than the center. Also, have you had any isses with going over speed bumps or up driveway ramps?
I want to get the stillen lip but am concerned that I will not be able to get into my driveway.
Thanks in advance.

I don't have this set up yet, but it doesn't look too bad in the pics I have seen. I had a Cadillac STS 2" drop in the front with a body kit and it was low and I never had a problem with speed bumps.
You will learn quickly what angle will get you up and down your driveway without scraping. I would be very surprised if anyone says they have problems with speed bumps, but curious to see the answers. Glad you asked this...

I have stock suspension, wheels, tires, etc, and the bottom of my car scrapes on half the speed bumps in my area, no matter how slowly I go, or what angle I use on approach. The 'official' underneath clearance is 4 1/2 inches, which is the smallest clearance of any stock Maxima ever built.
As to the front, I have to stop short of parking bumpers and curbs, because my stock bumper will not clear most of them. My wife and I spend lots of time going into and out of driveways (of homes for sale), and if there is any steepness at all to the part of the driveway where it meets the street, the front bumper scrapes. It isn't always possible to enter at an angle, as that puts the car either on the grass or into walls or gates beside the pavement.
This would be a great car for the open plains of western Texas, where everything is flat and wide.
