7th gen aftermarket spoiler installation
Got this spoiler from a web site http://www.myspoiler.com/abs212a-l4.html it was $109 and the fit and paint was perfect,I see it's $139 now so just say a guy on maxima.org bought it for $109 and referred you.
First I put spoiler on deck and got it where I wanted it and taped the sides as a guide
Then I flipped it installed the hard paper guides for where to drill the holes, there are 4 about 10 inches with a hole in the center with sticky glue tape.place the sticky side on the 3 holes and brake hole and flip and mount spoiler on car.once it's lined up and perfect ,tape the paper guides down to the car and carefully remove spoiler and now your ready to drill...
fill in holes with a marker then take off guides, center punch the holes and drill away(the scary part)
I peeled off the tape and put some silicone around the drilled holes and carefully put on car and installed screws.you can see the holes all fell in a cavity so thankfully no underside drilling required

next came the brake light,I dropped the cover and found the wires to the brake light(hole next to light)
went inside car and removed brake light and removed connection.I cut the lines and joined them with the spoiler brake wires and put on connectors.tucked the wires back in and put light back on rear deck.(I left my brake light working in the car and if I want a change I can disconnect it)
done now the results...2 hours later and almost $300 saved from nissan route!!

looks good and seems like a great price!!
I would make one suggestion. Get rid of the wire nuts. They aren't designed to handle road induced vibrations and don't necessarily work well with stranded wiring and could easily come loose. wrapped electrical tape would be better, a butt connector even better and the ultimate would be soldering.
good job though!
