I have a 2010 Maxima and today noticed that it can play DivX videos. I have already done the DVD in motion hack. Just wondering if anyone has any experience with the DivX playback, if its anything like the PS3 then that will be great. The PS3 plays almost any video you can throw at it.

Can it play videos through a USB jump drive?
Can it play videos through a Data DVD filled with videos?

I will experiment later on today, just wondering if anyone knows already.
I just need to go pick up some blank DVDs.

 

Maxima will play most MPEG and all DIVX videos through the USB with a drive, Data CD or DVD, and a regular DVD.

Pretty cool, not many cars have this.

nice to know, I was always wondering what formats it played, I tried putting some of those formats and none of the files worked for me. oh well.
