No more pulling :D

So about two weeks ago I had Djfrestyl from the boards install my Eibach Spring sand a rear sway.

My car already pulled but began to do so even more after (expected). I found Cybert Tires in Manhattan and although they had iffy reviews they were close and offered a wheel balance and alignment (Will post review of that in NE Section)

End result? No more pulling. its almost weird, Im so used to tilting my wheel to go straight it feels odd for it to be lined up properly.

They also had mentioned my wheels were all different weights and pressures all screwed up. They dropped my pressure on each tire to ~32. Is that the norm for most on boards? I usually kept mine a little higher for better mileage

Most people run 35-38psi. My alignment is also out of whack after installing my new wheels and pro-kit. I've just been too lazy to take it in. Glad to hear an alignment/balance fixed your issue though.

Was your problem the same problem in this thread? Or was you vehicle just out of alignment which caused the pull? Or was it the tires that fixed the problem?

http://forums.maxima.org/7th-generat...lls-right.html

I ask because my Maxima's been on the alignment rack 4 times and it still pulls to the right. They even replaced the left front strut because the front camber is not adjustable and the camber was at -9 degrees and the right front was correct at -5 degrees which could cause the car to be pushed to the right.

So what I'm wondering is if it was your alignment that fixed it or the new tires?

Thanks

Well I didn't get any new tires to clarify. The car ALWAYS Pulled from the first day I got it, I had posted about that here to. When I put in the Eibach Spring sit pulled even more which was annoying. I didn't bother with an alignment initially because most people as yourself tried to no avail. Once I had new springs however and the wheel was turned 15-20 degrees towards the right I decided to get the alignment and balance.

Ill be raising up my tires PSI to 34-35 this weekend and we'll see if that changes anything but I seriously doubt it would make a difference unless one tire was drastically lower/higher in pressure.

Ok, I see now. That was the shop name, not that you were buying new tires from there but just getting the alignment and balance.

So after replacing the springs and getting an alignment your problem with the pull is gone? Was it pulling to the right or left?

My Max has been the same since the first weekend I bought it, pulls to the right...

Yes both stock rims and tires. I don't plan to change those until summer with winter now in.

I had the same problem after i installed 20" Vossen and new Toyo tires. I got 2 wheel alignments and still have the problem. I also have a negative camber issue on reat wheels since i dropped it. I called Eibach and ordered camber bolts to fix negative camber but still not fix for the pulling right.
