Driver seat bump

Seems like I'm having a ton of issues with my driver seat these day. I noticed today that a really hard bump/knot is in the middle of my driver seat where the vinyl(?) meets the part the extends for your legs. Anyone else notice this? I've got a laundry list of things to be fixed this week at the dealership so if necessary it can be fixed.

I've loved this car, but it seems like after the one year mark more and more things are having issues...

You know...I thought I noticed this the other day myself. It kept feeling like I was sitting on something that fell off my lap and slipped under my leg. Every time I checked though nothing was there. Felt like the left side of the driver seat right where that extension part comes out in the front. I haven't noticed it as much recently (I extended the front part a bit) but I definitely noticed it when it was all the way in. Glad I'm not going crazy.

That was my exact feeling. I got in sideways to put my shoes on while my legs were still out the door and I was positive I sat on my phone. Got up, and nothing was there. I pushed on the middle of the seat where the two pieces of vinyl come together right by the leg extension and it is very hard. I have the extension pushed all the way in.

I actually was advised by a doctor a long time ago to not put anything in my back pockets because it is bad for the lower spine and hip area, so haven't kept anything in my back pockets for over 5 years. In this case there is definitely something "sticking up" and creating a bulge when the seat extension is pushed all the way in. Could simply be something inside catching and "bunching up" as it is pushed in.

As I mentioned I was able to fix this by extending that piece a little that helps support your lower thighs, which actually is comfortable after getting used to.

I would try extending the leg/thigh piece, and pressing down on the spot that you feel the bump, then push the leg extender back in, at least then you should feel something and when you go to Nissan you can show them

It is only present when the leg extender is pushed all the way in, which is how I normally like it. I've extended it one click and the hard spot is no longer present. I've got about 10 things for the dealer to fix so this will be another added to the list. Thanks all.

Sure.

1) Oil Change
2) Driver seat rocks forward and back at times (should be a TSB for this)
3) Nav system update released sometime in the summer
4) Creak/grown from somewhere in the front (might be a TSB)
5) I have some seat stitching starting to come loose
6) Front dash rattle (does not appear to be overhead compartment or cup holder)
7) Driver side door rattle (might be coming somewhere from the steering column)
8) Driver seat bump as mentioned in this forum post
9) Driver side floor mat doesn't stay in place due to loose floor mat ring (others have had this problem and have been given new mats/floor rings)
