Removing 3rd branke light...

I am thinking about getting a OEM spoiler for my car but dont want 2 3rd brake lights...

How can I remove the one that is inside the car? are there any holes left from removing it?

pics? instructions?

Thanks!

I removed the third brake light (rear window) when I had the dealer install the OEM spoiler. Inside the box that the spoiler came in there were instructions and a part number for the flat panel cover that Nissan makes that you can install to totally remove the light and cover the opening in the rear deck. Have your dealer do a dealer search for the cover panel part number to find one in the dealer network as Nissan does not currently have them available. I found a dealer in Tennessee (I think) that had 23 in stock - total cost including freight was about $30 (including freight) and I installed it myself (pretty easy).

I believe the part (for charcoal), is this 999J1-MVPSG
Anybody know if this will fit a 2011 Maxima?
