Stock HIDs
I'm still trying to figure out if mine has the stock HID's or if the previous owner upgraded them. I installed 5k HID fog lights and my headlights have a very slight blue tint compared to the 5k fogs. 4300 sounds like it would be more yellow than blue, is that right?

I have never heard of a car that didn't have 4300k stock HID bulbs.
Nope 5000K is pure white, once you go up to 6000K+ there's a hint of blue.
Again, that's all tricks from the projector. Look at my projectors for instance:

You see that blue/purple color right at the cutoff? From a distance at certain angles the projectors will have that blue/purple "tint" because of that color at the cutoff.

That makes sense. I'm sure you are correct.
I got 5k for my fog lights, and this is what they look like together with my headlights on. Is it just me or do my headlights look blueish and do I need to try 6k for the fogs to even get in the ballpark of matching?

From what I've been told the bulb manufacturers make a ton of bulbs in varying colors and then sort them later into "closest fit" groups. So they'll grab everything close to 5000k and label it 5000k, and so on. This is why matching HIDs can be irritating.

I just bought HID's for the fogs and the guy really knew his HID's!! I told him what car I had and he immediately said H11 6k is the best match to the headlights. Here's what I got:

Hoping to install them next weekend then I will post pics
