Juke

I was able to test drive a 6-speed Juke today and I was so surprised with how much fun that car is to drive. The engine is very smooth, you don't even feel the turbo boost and has a lot of low end torque. The car just pulls in any gear in sport mode.

Very quiet ride for such a low priced car, I couldn't believe this was manufactured on the same Versa/Cube platform. It handles very well we took a few high speed curves and if it wasn't for the salesman telling me to gun it I would've let up much sooner.

Looks like Nissan has a hit on it's hands, this is a wolf disguised as a sheep. Not bad for a car that looks like a frog.

Great drivetrain, just wish they put it in a better looking body. Maybe even the Sentra or Rogue.

I'm not wild about the body style either, but every test report I have seen sounded rather interesting.

The latest (March) Consumer Reports has an in-depth test of the Juke. They liked the power, sportiness, maneuverability, high seating position, visibility, headroom, legroom, front seats, fuel efficiency, CVT, etc. Their only gripes were a fairly noisy and rough ride, rear visibility was not good, rear seat too small for adults, small trunk, steering column does not telescope and the Juke requires premium fuel.

In summary, the Juke is a real fun car to drive around town, especially for those who like small and sporty, and don't mind a firm ride. But this is not an ideal car for long freeway trips.

I think the juke is really cool, id be all over it if i was in my teens and twenties.

the styling is very aggressive and cartoonish, it's exactly what those in the segment are looking for...like the nissan cube. it's strangely funny but very apealing.

The Juke is a joke in terms of looks. I mean it looks like a bug you just want to smash. Move over Aztek, Nissan wants the title of ugliest vehicle. I guess they brought the Nissan S Cargo designers back from retirement for one last hurrah. Doesn't matter how it rides if it makes you hurl looking at it.

The Juke appears fun to drive, but the front part looks very funny...
