Looks good. I may consider a de-badge as well. Love the before and after pic contrast. Before all dirty, after is sparkling clean. lol

If I don't have fishing line can I use dental floss? lol...

How long did you have to use the hairdryer on the letters before something could slide behind them?

dental floss might not be strong enough and is alittle thicker then fishing line but it shoudl still do the trick u might just have alittle extra glue on the car the hairdryer u use until the letters can be moved by ur fingers so you can tell its pretty much ready when the letters slide back and forth from the pressure of your finger then use the dental floss take the letters off then i used water and my fingers to take the extra glue off i dont recommand that lol my fingers hurt lol so use like Gogone some product that takes glue off but doesnt touch the clear coat put on a just rub the glue off right after i took the car to get waxed and done.. good luck man

Looks good, thanks for sharing the pics. Now how about "de-badging" the dealer tag frame, first thing I do when I buy a car - might consider keeping it if they'd pay me to advertise on my car hehe

They're the CK-style switchbacks from V-LEDs.com

Just took mine off yesterday. Had to wait until the license plate frame came in with the raised Maxima lettering. I love how clean it is now.

Oh and I didn't do any "marketing tricks". Mine clearly needs a bath.

You can remove the Nissan logo as well as there are no pegs if anyone is interested.

If you took off the front emblem too I'm sure a decent amount of people wouldn't even know what kind of car this was. I like the incognito look but my issue was mainly cleaning off the back of the trunk, especially since there was no 3.5 SV on the right side to balance it out. Although I probably would have taken that off too if they had it.

Funny that you say that. People always ask or circle the car a couple of times trying to make it out. I'm replacing the emblem in the front with a cool little badge soon and there will be no Nissan anything on the outside of the Max. Now if I could get rid of the steering wheel badge, we would be complete.

You remove it (safely) by using a blow dryer to heat up the letters and a fishing line to slide beneath them and remove the letters. Just do one letter at a time at first. It will leave a black goo in the shape of the letter, for this I just heated the goo up using the blow dryer and "rolled" the black stuff off the car with my fingers. I then used some Goo Gone (NOT Goof Off!) to clean the remaining residue and you could never tell anything was ever there to begin with. Honestly it was quite easy, I was nervous before hand but there is no need to be unless you're using a heat gun. If you use a heat gun (for whatever reason) keep it on the lowest setting and "wave" it back and forth in front of the Maxima letters instead of holding it in one spot - you could damage the paint!

Looking like we have good taste. This old couple in a Camry didn't see that I was sitting in the car because of my tint. They circled me twice in the back of a parking lot and never looked through the windshield to see me. The gentleman proceeds to get out of the car and start walking up to the car. Looks at the back and trys to peek through the windows. I can hear him asking himself what kind of car it is. As he approaches the front window, I screamed, "ITS A MAXIMA!!" He about crapped himself. Sorry for the long story but this just happened last night.
