No idea about the tuning, but for cat-backs...the only options are stillen or borla. Note that stillen got some pretty bad reviews on here, do a search for more info....also most would agree that borla is the best bet. Personally, I would take it the custom route at an exhaust shop.

Update-Talked to JDS Motoring who did a K&N CAI, Borla cat back and an UPrev tune and added 23 whp and with K&N boasting a 13whp gain alone is the extra 2000 worth only 10 more whp. Is this all they can do for our maxima? I want to make this a sub 13 second car and advice?

did you try Iveytune in nj? or MaxPSI in nj? there is also a guy named GATO aka Felix that tunes every exotic that enters the tristate area .He works for classic coach in nj too.give them a call.I bet 1 of those 3 people can maximize what you have.I think they are all located in the linden/elisabeth area

For all those mods and money, a 23whp gain is pretty pathetic IMO. I'd rather invest that money in some forged wheels and drop weight at each corner.

Making the 7th Gen a 12.XX car is going to take weight reduction, dumping the CVT and quite a few bolt-ons plus tune or just go F/I. There are a few 6th gen's with 5AT or 6MT's that can hit 12's, but those guys have an insane amount of bolt-on's or F/I and a strong trans. I ran 13.93 bone stock, but I'm not getting my hopes up for hitting mid 13's since its the 60ft times that are gonna kill ya. The torque mgmt software in the CVT will bog you down each and every time.

Yea I won't be spending more money after my K&N CAI until I find more cost efficient ways to gain power. I will look at some weight reduction ideas and possibly a CVT upgrade. I have been reading about a way to change something with the torque output on the CVT which would help with ur 60ft time. I am also running 14.0 1/4 time bone stock... my goal is to be patient and make the right investments to make this a 12.9 MAXIMA .. fist sub 12 CVT car!!!!

With the current aftermarket for the 7G, we're pretty limited when it comes to performance parts. We're still limited by FWD, which never produces decent 60ft times without some type of D/R tire.

Definitely take your time with the mods. Like yourself, I don't want to spend a wad of cash on minimal gains. I think until someone can build a strong CVT trans for our cars with better programming, we're going to be kinda limited to power output.

Congrats though on the 14 flat club as an A.S.S. (All Stock Stuff)!
