Bumper and Right Fender Sprayed

well as some of you guys know my dad scratched the fender and a little of the bumper. so we decided to get it resprayed my uncle does body work and painting so we took it to him he doesn't have his own shop but he got his little set up these are all the pics i took while he was working and my dad is in a few pics helping out also. check it out

he said to come back a week later so he can compound the paint and put a glaze over it so it looks factory so you guys tell me what u think

looks pretty good!! you probably saved a good chunk of change having your uncle do the work for you

oh yea i saved a good well comparing to what other shops wanted. but yea it looks perfect im waiting for some good weather so i can clay bar the whole car and wax it

the color match looks right on in that pic. looks like a good job despite the portable paint booth. any fish eyes?

yea thats the only downside about the painting he doesnt have a booth but i did not spot any dust and it looks clean im happy

I have been told not to touch new paint for 3 months, just wash it

I would have taken the vehicle to a Nissan dealer. You should not skimp on bodywork. In the short term you may have saved money, but in the long term I would have had the car repaired professionally at a Nisan dealership. I hope that your paint job holds up for you long term. I also noticed the lack of a spray booth with climate control in he photos above. Seeing that you live in NY and the car was sprayed outdoors in the late winter all I can say once again is good luck.

the entire car will be repainted by a professional body shop in queens next year this is just temporary i dont wanna be driving around a new car with scratches
