anyone interested in getting these wheels with me ?

I may have a possible deal going with the wholesaler of these wheels here locally, they are 20x8.5 and 20x9.5 +35 all around. the fitment is the sweet spot for the a35 maxima.

center bore is 66.6 so it will fit the maxima 66.1, I can get the bolt pattern computer cnc re-drilled to 5.114.3 bolt pattern. I've done this before to many of my previous cars and wheels with zero problems. they are also tpms compatible, u take your original stems and stick it into these.

I need to meet the 10 set requirement and I can get them out for 1000 SHIPPED each set. Just wondering if anyone would be interested.

they all have the AMG badge, but that's what makes it cool! to put two totally different elements and make it match very well is really the beauty in this match up.

the thing is, this fitment on a really nice tight coilover drop will really make the jaws drop....I can already see it.

keep it super duper simple with two very simple elements but with a super tight, low coilover drop on a perfect rim aligned fitment.

the japanese, in the VIP culture, use german brands like carlsson, brabus and even oem benz and bmw wheels on their vipcar platforms.

it's very common and very flattering to both styles.

Agreed.

AMG badging on a Nissan is far from cool.

What's next, an STi spoiler? Maybe some "M" badges?

However, those a really nice wheels. I have always loved them. If we could machine the AMG off I would consider it.

I have to agree as well. Not sure what the VIP community is doing but I can tell you that it's tacky. You could get knock-offs for the look that don't say AMG and don't have Mercedes center caps. Otherwise, let's leave the AMG rims on Mercedes where they belong.

Now Nismo rims would work.

Nice rims. But the AMG logo doesn't sound good on rims on a Maxima.

well realistically, without all the marketing hype of a "brand name", let's take things for face value. these are great looking wheels.

and chances are, the oem wheels on your maxima probably come from the same factory as these benz amg replica wheels.

this is also another option that can be made to work for the A35 maxima, in 19" or 20" diameter.

Please look past the "marketing" hype of branding and look at the design at face value, focus on the potential of the gorgeous maxima body style lowered with one of the many beautiful german wheel designs.

you guys got to understand, alot of these oem AMG and bmw M wheel designs were the source and copy inspiration designs for a lot of other copy cat wheels brands such as the xxr, vertini, miro, roderick, driv etc.

no need to re-invent the wheel (literally). go straight to the source, take it and do something fresh with it.

so amg belongs on benz cars, so I guess "xxr" brand would be more appropriate for the maxima ?

I agree it would be tacky to have AMG logo wheels on a Maxima (or any brand other than Mercedes). A friend of mine bought AMG wheels last year and when he got them painted he had the AMG indent filled and painted over. That could be an option for you guys and on that particular wheel it would be easy cause the part of the spoke with AMG on it could be taped off and you would only need to re-paint that little section.

some of them don't come with the amg badge, and ya u can get them covered up....but what's the point. Covering up a brand is the same is showing off a brand. both are meaningless in the grand scheme of things.

here's another one :

first we're comparing maximas to benz...now we're trying to get benz wheel? c'mon guys...... puttin amg wheels on a maxima would be super tacky/rice/retarded/(fill in the blank)...if you like the style of the wheel, then get that style of wheel but please get a wheel that doesn't have a brand name on it that belongs to another vehicle make....

Here is a older model lexus GS on 19" BMW M6 wheels.

those who see the potential when other's don't are the ones that get ahead in life.

they didn't even bother removing the bmw wheel badge.

and yes the 20" m6 wheels will work, but with a 8.5j and 9.5j +20 at the back, you will need to ride low on coilovers to get maximum natural camber.

no, what would be more "appropriate", would be G37 wheels, 370z wheels, gtr wheels, m37 wheels, NISMO, etc.... or if you MUST have those wheels cause you like the style, then get them without AMG, and ditch the mercedes center cap....

i'm sorry, but i SERIOUSLY doubt you'll get 10 people to go in on this with you according to the census on this thread....

well g37 only go up to 19, m37 come with 20" but let's face it, it just don't look that good and will not capture the soul in terms of positive shock when one see's a well fitted european wheel on a beautiful a35 max.

see, not so nice eh ? and these u will have to go straight to the dealership or find a used set, of which nobody is willing to part with.

and here's your GTR wheels, u won't be able to get them for no less than 3000 dollars...and the 20" bmw m3 wheel will rock harder on a a35.

and let's call a spade a spade, the european designs all look better than these.

and to the rest of the members who don't associate this with hitler ,

another great thing if you opt for just a eibach drop is the subtle aspect of the combination. It's not loud, it's not gawdy. It makes a subtle statement without screaming out loud.

it's subtle, flattering yet different than every other maxima out there. Kinda like how benz, bmw's and audi's all look better because they are slightly lower with their optional upsized wheels. It's the subtle differences that captures good taste.

here's more inspiration, the vw guys all play with benz wheels and it's not because it's a "german" brand. It's because the bolt pattern fits.

u can't make a statement one way and contradict yourself on the next.

Dude, how do you see me contradicting anything? My statement was so brief, and so abstract, and meant to be light hearted, and funny. If you can't understand the joke, don't try to dissect it, it will only make your head hurt. Just move on...

What's even more funny is the fact that most of the commoners on the 7th Gen section are pretty much all in agreement that this is probably the ricest and least classiest thing you could do to a Maxima.

Just let it be guy. It's over. Move on.

rather than argue over something that really can't be resolved..let's face it. there is no right and wrong answer to this disagreement right?

so I'll let YOUR OWN STATEMENTS prove my point. If german european wheels on japanese cars are so tacky and so "wannabe"...then what do u call something like this ? ricey ? wannabe ?

remember, IT WAS YOU that said german wheels are wannabe on japanese cars (maxima).

what retard would do this ? wow, maybe some flames along the fenders, chrome spinners and a "NASCAR" logo on each side of the car would better suit your tastes.

scarry thing is that it's probably true.

I'm sorry to say, but any "car guy" who insults this car really and truly is a lost cause.
