So Im taking my lip to get painted this morning, but I need to prefit it first is this something that is fairly easy to do or should i just pay a bodyshop? I have tried to search for some DIY stuff for this but haven't come across anything I just want it to be flush with the car and don't know if it's a task to take on myself,but everyone says its so easy so I don't want to pay and feel like I got ripped off?

 

when I got mine I got a couple quotes from different shops. had one shop that wanted to charge 350 but were going to pre-fit it multiple times and sand down the inside until it fit flush, then sand it all and paint it. I found someone else to just sand/paint it for $170 and I'm happy with the results; although in hind sight I'd probably just pay the extra money and have it fit perfectly because I can see myself having it pulled off and re-done at a later date.
