HID Foglight Kit help

So my HID kit is getting delivered shortly and I just want to make sure I have all the basis covered. It should be plug and play so I just want to verify that I am not going to need anything is to make them work correctly. Also does anybody have a good pic of where they mounting the ballast. I know i have asked these questions a lot, but im a noob and im just trying to learn without screwing up my car since im taking pride in doing all this stuff myself. Thanks gang!

Honestly I'm not sure if they are plug and play, I know for the 5.5 gens they are not, but cutting wires is pretty simple, or drilling a hole either way works well.

As far as mounting, once you got it all apart you'll find a good place for it. Zipties with the 3m tape will work well anywhere, just clean the surface first.

I've seen two kinds of HID fog kits - ones that are literally plug and play with the H11 connectors on them - another that required a simple H11 connector off of Amazon. I didn't have to do any splicing whatsoever for my fogs. Just look at the connections and if they don't fit go buy this : http://www.amazon.com/Go-Model-Plug-...4358914&sr=1-1

So it truely was as easy as everybody says it is. Only problem is I dont think i did the best jobs wrapping the wires up, so hopefully everything will continue to work, guess we will just see with time. Also I definately should have gone with the 5k light the 6k is way more blue then the stock headlights, but you know what i kind of like it so its gonna stay for now at least!

^ lol. I figured that may have been what happened when all you posted was the finished look photo! No sweat man, we have all had the anxiety bug a time or two when the UPS man shows up with the new goodies!

If u have HIDs in the headlight, u can always change the bulb to 6K, thats what i did fr the OEM HID, so i have top and bottom with 6K.

Im assuming it the same H11 bulb then that I would need. I can just order a set from v-leds just to ensure that they match. Anyway I took some night photos and damn near blinded myself woowww!
