So after waiting as long as I could... I started modding

It started with the DVD Bypas.

Next was getting the windows tinted 10%...



and then I put the spoiler on...

Holes marked...


Holes Drilled/Rust proofed...


Wing ON!




NEXT will be 20x8.5 and 20x10 Niche Circuits wrapped in 245/35 and 275/30 Nexen N3000 rubber, Eibach springs, 6k HID Lows and Fogs, 6k LED driving lights... ALL OF WHICH IS ON ORDER! The springs showed up today! I will keep updating this thread as stuff starts happening!

If you plan on doing RSB, FSTB, or Endlinks i'd do it at the same time as your springs. No point in taking all of your tires off and messing with your struts twice. Just my 2 cents.

 

How much does the Rear Sway bar and Front Bar help with handling? Will I notice those without endlinks?

 

Immensely. Yeah you'll definately notice. the RSB moreso than the FSTB.

 

Yea I live in westerville now, originally from Chicago! Hate to tell you this but u don't truely become a Chicago driver until your car gets dented I hope for your sake you never become one, hahah!

Just work on your aggressive driving skills, lol! Man I swear we be having the nicest car with huge dents or scratch and we don't get them fixed cuz it gives the car character and authenticity hahah! My Lexus has her share of scars

The Max handles like a shark with these + Eibach's...low and precise with the handling...much less leaning in the turns which was a big one for me.

 

The spoiler looks much better than spoilerless.
10% was a good choice on black.. ever thought about painting your handles like white09maxima had done?

 

Yeah I had a murdered out F350... Wanting to brighten it up a bit this time.

 

Looks good and way better with the spoiler....

 

Man there is a night and day difference when you add the RSB, the car corners much flatter so you can take corners at a faster speed and there isn't a lot of rocking uptop due to these stiff rollbars (they tend to have a lot of rocking uptop).

The FSTB doesn't seem to do all that much by itself but with both together there is a vast difference.

Well being the absolute perfectionist I am... I noticed this morning the spoiler wasn't exactly square on the body... Measured it on the outside and I was right. It was a 1/16th off... Seems the holes on the bottom are not a true gauge. So I made the holes an 1/8" larger... Wiggled, pulled, and pushed till it was perfect and retightened the screws... Just an FYI for anyone who installs one! My girlfriend didn't notice and I assume most wouldn't but I did...

 

I used some rvt sealant which I would recommend if you opened the holes up

 

It looks great maxxxxxxxspeed!!! In my opinion our maxima's need a spoiler, i think they look naked without them. Now our 08 tsx, i did not like the factory spoiler on that car, so ours was without.

You are way braver then I would be to drill into the truck!!! That is why I got the Sport and Nav and tech packages

But looking good man, great work! And the best color too

Which one you thinking of? Stillen or Racingline? I'm liking the Stillen one so far it definitely felt much more solid than the OEM one. Truthfully I only ordered it cause Racingline's was on like 6 month back order or something ridiculous, but am happy with it.

well suspension and wheels as on and it looks NASTY! Looks like my bulldog, wide and stout.



once I get her cleaned up tn I will post up some pics of the suspension work. I am still waiting on my HID headlights and fogs from DDM tuning. It has been over 2 weeks since I ordered them and they shipped...

 

Here ya go... a little dark but you get the idea...

It rides good except I have a couple knocks in the front end. My guess is it is the front sway bar links are not tight enough where they mount to the strut assemblies.

Damn Maxx we got even more in common I had an ABD too but had to put him down last year...he was still a puppy tho but he was a beast! He was more Scott tho but looking to get another one that who the max is named after the license plate is his name and we call our max beast! That was his second name

 

best dog I have ever owned PERIOD. Named him Diesel. he is about a year and a half old now but still a puppy.

Anyone know what the knocking could be? The sway bar links? the strut on the retaining plate? any ideas?
