tuning?
tuning?
alright just dropped my car off for some mods (will post pics when its back), current mods are R2C intake, stillen lightweight pulleys, grounding kit, racingline front strut, stillen sway, interior blue LED's under seats, notto 5k fogs and lows, stillen roof wing, eibachs (alignment after), E&G black ice grille, painted red part of tails black, 15% tint all around, and stillen front lip....mods coming in the following weeks are a RLP y-pipe, borla boomer mufflers, and MAYBE bullydog tuner...just curious if after all this i would need to get my ECU tuned properly, a lot of people say its not necessary if u disconnect the battery when doing bolt on mods, just curious if anyone suggests it, and where to go to get it done?
thanks,

nice mod list but some of the stuff u getting installed could have been done by urself to save you some money like the intake, grounding kit, racingline front strut, stillen sway, interior blue LED's under seats, notto 5k fogs and lows, stillen roof wing, E&G black ice grille and stillen front lip IMO. once you disconnect the battery, be ready to reprogram everything over like window, radio, memory seat, dash light. thats just a few i could remember
sorry most of that was already installed, the only stuff i brought to the shop that i just dropped off was the lip, eibachs, notto's and intake, i dont really trust myself on installing anything cause i dont know my **** too well id have to like watch someone do it or work with someone till i got the hang of stuff, ill be sure to remember what i need to reprogram when its done tho, just making sure i didnt need to get it tuned
Call them and ask them if they can help you out, They do great work, have alot of experience with the VQ platform, the only problem is they might have to slap ur car on a dyno to get you a good tune, an its impossible to accuratley dyno this car bc of the lack of fixed gears in the trans. But it wont hurt to call them, they maybe able to do a tune w/o a dyon.
