I ussually try E-Bay first then search any web-sites that may offer these items for the cheapest price.

I go to autozone or pepboys for both. Not as concerned about price as convenience. Now sparkplugs...had to go to dealer as even NAPA didn't have those.

i got my cabin filter off eBay and was looking at a K&N filter on eBay as well before getting an intake. definitely cheaper than paying someone to swap those for you

Fram Engine Filter

I just bought a Fram Engine Filter (CA4309) for my 2010 Maxima. I installed it today and I dont feel it fits as snug as the factory filter originally installed. Any input on this? Can this do harm to the engine? I got the case to close but the filter seems to bend towards one side ather then sit in straight across.

You are better off paying the extra couple of bucks for the Nissan oil filter. It is far and away a superior product. Nissan oil filter + Mobile One = about $30 for a do it your self project. Doesn't get much better than that.

I do all my oil filter changes at the dealer, and as for the air filter, stick to oem..the aftermarket ones don't fit well.

I use Mobil1 oil filters, Autozone runs a special, comes out to 35 bucks with tax, my only advise for oil filters is don't buy cheap ones, otherwise most are manufactured by the same distributors
