Instrument Panel cover bubbling spots?

Hi All:
I got in my car this morning and noticed that the plastic(?) covering the instrument panel had white/grayish "water" spots. I tried to wipe them off but they did not. After rubbing it a bit, I felt raised bumps on where the spots where located. I have left my sunroof cover open like always and it has been hot and sunny here in Jersey and this is the first time this has happened.

The bumps are very noticeable and blur the panel - the bumps are located on the center bottom of the panel and mostly around the gas gauge location. I'm a bit worried that this may be a defective panel and that it may happen on other locations of the panel - making it difficult to see the gauges.

Has anyone else experience this issue with the instrument panel cover? My car just has over 16,000 miles on it and feel that this is a product component defect and should be covered by warranty to replace am I correct?

Any help and knowledge before bringing this is for service would be much appreciated.

Are you sure it's just not the removable protective film? It might be just a protective layer you're supposed to remove

Take a picture if you can, it's hard to picture what you describe. I've never heard of anything like this so unless you used some really harsh cleaner to clean your interior with that caused it I'm sure warranty should cover it.

Hope this works. Sorry for late reply - busy weekend. As you can see, the "bubbles" or smudges actually appear to have some depth to them. I'm worried that there may be a crack in the seal after noticing that there is a bubble on the bottom as is visible on the first picture.

*BUMP*
Those who did have problems similar to this, what was your solution if any? I'm scheduling to have the dealer look at this and make them replace it. I didn't realize the photos weren't working -should be fine now. The blurry spots really mask the panel and don't want it to get worst.
Really appreciate the help guys!

Good to know but saw it the morning after a hot summer evening a good week since going in carwash where they wipe dry inside.

Bringing NiMa in on Thursday so that the Service Department can spend an hour diagnosing the problem! Hopefully it doesn't take them that long - pathetic!
