Hey C-Mod, in another thread a group buy has been mentioned, but the mods stated there were some rules about posting that info and some requirements on your company's part. Any progress in that area? I'm interested, but HATE paying retail.

 

Here you go, my 2011 max with cmod grille. It can be painted but I choose to keep the flat black look.

So did you guys paint your Nissan Emblems or did it come with the Grill?
It looks really good.

 

The grille did not come with the emblem. I took it off from the original grille and plasti dipped it black and put 3m double sided tape with adhesive promoter.

is this a difficult install?

 

This is an aftermarket part. Modifications may be required to customize the fitment. You need to drill holes on the grille to install it, and it should be easy.

Yea I ended up just ordering it, even though shippin was stupid expensive! Anyways how long does it usually take to ship? And can you elaborate on why holes need to be drilled to install cause the pic makes it look like it's just a simple swap with the same little push tabs as the OEM grille

 

I ordered mine on the 26th or 27th of August and I'm still waiting. The shipping is high because it's coming out of Canada. Hopefully I'll have mine soon and I can elaborate on the difficulty of install. I was also under the impression that it was a simple swap out. We'll see

same here... i tried taking out my grille but i cant get to remove the two lower middle clips... there's almost no space to work around it....

 

I had the same problem with those two lower middle clips when I tried to remove mine and install the 2011 factory SV Sport grille. I used a 1/2 inch open ended wrench to depress the tabs. Just work both tabs in alternate order and you should be able to wiggle it out.

 

I got my grill today and must say it is a nice looking piece. For the extended shipping time question... my grill had to ship from Hong Kong! I don't know if mine was the only one that has been drop-shipped or something, but I guess that would explain the long shipping time. Off to the body-shop tomorrow and hopefully pics will be up by the weekend

 

I did not need to drill a hole for install. Just take off the stock a slap on the mesh

install hard? i hate drilling holes i like direct fits

 

It looks to be a direct swap. I just have the bumper cover off for some other additions so my exchange was even easier

Just put mine on- but with the white bumper support it looks kind of silly. Will post a pic later. Need to cover it with an emblem and paint the support black.
