Ray Ray's Ocean Grey 2011 Maxima SV with Sport Pacakge

Hey guys, well Im new here been snooping around for about a month and love the site so i figure Ill introduce myself . So my name is Ray I live in north jersey and i brought myself a 2011 nissan maxima a complete different direction from my last vehicle a 2006 trailblazer ss ... heres a video

I also wanna make this thread my mod,issues and new pics

So far i have 1300 miles on my car and my mods are tint 35% i payed $170 for it with tails and strip across the front .



I also installed interior led though out the car $59 total of 18 led bulbs



hid fogs $35 self installed



carbon fiber interior cost me $20 3m vinyl self installed





ok so i got 1300 miles and on thursday and im taking it in for driver front bearings making a whining noise

well thats a start ill try to keep this updated thanks

Nice mods!! How long did it take you to do the cf mod? I was thinking about that too but based on my previous experience, I didn't want to deal with peeling in the hot weather.

it took me about 2 hours the radio was the hardest in order for me not to get it to peel i removed all the pieces and wrapped around the edges once you place back it its holding its self in ... so far so good only time can tell

Where did u buy the vinyl from? Do they have it in red and how hard was it removing the panels. Wanno do mine in red

ya Ray Ray can you post a how-to on removing the panels without breaking them? i can go start yanking on stuff but that generally doesnt end well

no not hard at all i didnt take of door handles just wraped over it used a head gun to strech around curves ... here another diagram once again from FREDMC2020

Mine came with carbon fiber so no Need to do mine. Everywhere is covered with carbon fiber except the door panel where the window switch at.

Pics of said stock carbon fiber trim. When I put the radio's in at the plant, we did NOT have a carbon fiber trim. There was this black crap that supposed to look like CF but it looked nothing like CF

yeah i have the "carbon fiber" too after seein the brushed aluminum in the '12 i like that much better so just grabbed some 3M brushed aluminum vinyl and gonna wrap all of it up

Sorry but that silver trim better not be like the Infiniti. Only after 10k miles it was chipped and peeling. Looked terrible when it was traded in. I'll stick to my "fake" carbon.

ok update on the car .. im taking it to the dealer this week to repair the front wheel bearings ... and to fix a fog light that has water in it ...

LEt us know what they say about your fog. I can see them saying the fog light isn't covered as you already took the rear cover off to install the HID and maybe did not reinstall it correctly.

i cannot even lie....this max is money. i love all of your mods, even the CF touches, i just hope that it continues to look as nice as it does now

well i dropped off the max at the dealer and the changed the driver front wheel bearings and ordered a new fog light ill pick that up next week ....

i also got my switch backs but one of them doesnt work properly so i emailed the guy and waiting for a responce but they do look good ill post pics later..


how can i change the title of this thread ?
