If you really need to have snow tires to drive in the the snow then you should move.

Tires can't fix stupidity like driving too fast, using the brakes at the wrong time or poor following distances. Too many people just don't know how to drive safely in the snow.

My Max was awesome in the HEAPS of snow we received here in MA last Winter.

We just had a couple of centimeters here in Ontario and my Maxima fared just fine. I put on Goodyear Nordics and didn't have my ABS or traction control come on once.

For some reason on tire rack when I enter my car in which is a 2009 it does not offer a 17 inch wheel option... Considering all the 7th gens are the same a 17 will fit correct? 17x7.5 with a 40mm offset to be exact...

had my first snow storm today.............didn't do too bad just took my time...i am running stock Goodyear's............i am used to running some form of snow tire whether its Blizzaks or whatnot on the old Spec V...it definitely isn't the same but I am used to winter living in Buffalo. I will be getting better all-seasons next year and just drive my wife's CR-V in bad snow storms

my experience with the stock RS-A's is they're...ok. ive read tons on this forum about other aftermarket tires (especially Blizzaks) turning the Max into a snow plow. im not too concerned about it i'll be running stocks again this winter. when my tires need replacing though ill probably go with some winter tires

Where in Ontario are you? I'm in Mississauga. I got some nordics 225-55-17 and love them so far, but I noticed they rub on my generic mudflaps that I installed only when turning to the left fully ... I have to trim some off... What size nordics did you go with?

Totally agree...stock tires have worked fine here the northern plains. Speed and awareness seem to do more for winter driving than tires on this vehicle.
