Thanks bro yeah i know the wheels have been done but im the only black max around here with them and hey they look good so im happy. Plus for the money i paid they are a real quality wheel. I like the clean look versus some gawdy ones.

They have been done, but the difference here is its done right... In my opinion these are the best wheels for the max. Better than any aftermarket stuff out there. They just fit the car perfect...

If I wasnt leasing mine and the wheels werent a fortune, there would be a second black Max on LI with that wheel combo...

They've sold two hundred thousand Maximas in this body style. Has that 'been done' too? Why even bother?

^^ A $1000 plus shipping? shipping could be anywhere between $100-200 depending on where you are so that rounds off to $800-900. OEM wheels are stupid expensive so if you find a set with no curb rash for this price jump on it. You'll be lucky to get 370Z staggered wheels for that price. You want shipping off? Go pick it up...

He said $1000 plus shipping i would trade him my 350Z with $500 for the 370Z and wash his car. What he's asking for is the best you'll find. Seen a set on kijiji for $2750

@mrjasonlyrics I don't find anything funny about 1000 plus shipping I'm trying to make it cheaper... after all I'm paying for college and car at the same time...Besides, there are no pics to justify if they are really worth 1400... I've heard people buying them for 850 in good condition with microscopic scratches...

Oh crap... those are expensive.... I would rather get new after-market wheels. I understand they are EXPENSIVE but I heard people getting them for 1000 or less in facebook. I didn't mean to offend or low ball anybody with these wheels..That's why I offered 1000 plus shipping. I wish I had somebody hook me up with these. I saw someone in the 370Z forums for a 1000 in mint condition w/ 80% tire thread but I guess that individual wanted to get rid of them fast.

yes but these deals are through friends or hook ups, not through some random seller. I really wouldn't use those prices are your baseline people will think you're super cheap. if you have a buddy with a 370z that'd be where you get a great deal like 850 on em. regularly I see them reselling for $1500 WITH curb rash..

1500 with curb rash... That's crazy... Now that you guys put it, symple84's price is not bad. Plus after 2009maxima sv-sport gave me the link, I saw more 370Z wheels and I just gave up... those on ebay are outrageous prices. I guess I will have to find a 370Z owner in my area and make him my new best friend...

lol the only thing I'd buy directly from a dealership is maybe a bag of chips from the vending machine while waiting for my girl to have her free oil change on her Altima. and even those are expensive

That's the funniest thing i've seen all day. There's a reason why the 370Z's are expensive cars and the rims is part of it. The rims at the dealer is about $1200+/rim so tell me what sane person will spend 38-46K on a car and sell the rims for $850

Was at the local Nissan getting the winter tires switched and I went to the showroom and saw a new 370 with the Rays.
Of course I had to run over to parts and inquire about 4 front rays for the Maxima...4 brand new rays from dealer was $6,333.64 tax included(without rubber)up here in Canada.(WOW)
I went back to the showroom and looked at the dealer sticker and it was $4,000 with rubber on the options.
Time to search for used ones.

exactly. My buddy in the dealership said they cost $1500/rim so when a previous poster said he seen them for $800 I was like I'd leave Canada and drive to the states for those $800 wheels. As him and he'll tell you where he seen 370Z wheels for that low.lol

The 2012 maxima wheels look a lot like the 370z wheels and look very similar to oem 19 maxima wheels in terms of aggressiveness.

And one needs to go with 40 series tires if you run 19 which cost about 225 a piece. The tires alone cost about 900 a set just to change to this set...all the while you u will still look "stock".

So one must ask yourself, should i just get 20 inch, make a significant change and be in a lower tire price range (35 series tires in 20 is much more common and a set runs 400 bucks).

These r things one must consider when buying wheels.

Oh and lets not forget the cost of needing spacers with this set. Thats another 150 minimum.

So when all is said and done, your down 2000 bucks just so u can look a little above "stock".

Something to think about.

Seen them in person and they look super cheap, not even close to the Rays...The Ray's on the 370 in the showroom were 19's.

funny you say that, the only thing that looks stock about the Rays on a Maxima is the center cap

and i agree, the 2012 Maxima Ray lookalikes don't look the same at all in person. they do look much cheaper...

also i got Hankook Ventus V12's 245/40/19 all-around and it was 730 including shipping from onlinetires.com. not bad at all for 19's

But the entire package still looks stock. Even with thick spacers they still look stock.

They still look stock even when u try to make them more aggressive. So what is the net gain?

The whole purpose to wheels and lowering is to visually get as close to a le mans racecar speeding through the street, or to come as close to the look of a concept design car as possible. Notice how the concept design cars draw out super aggressive wheels sitting really close the wheel arch.

That is the purpose of what guys like tadaa do to their cars. There has to be some kind of net gain to the spend of your money..most of the gain being the visual satisfaction of a well fitted, really low car.
