Question for all of you

All opinions are wanted and absolutely encouraged on this! I'm looking to get either a 370z Sport or Maxima S Limited Edition Package.. I love both of them and always have, test driven 'em both and am torn. My family situation is I have had a girlfriend for a couple years now and we are looking to close that loop in the future, probably not too near, and I have a dog who likes to go on trips with me. I do a fair amount of both city and highway driving, but am coming from a Grand Cherokee so either one is a large step up in terms of mileage. Looking for a nice daily driver, not gonna trick it out or anything. Just looking for advice on your pros and cons you've found with the Maxima and, if you have experience, the 370z.

I appreciate any help!

If you keep the jeep then 370, if not maxima

Wink

Get the 370Z. If your family grows and you need a larger vehicle just grab ahold of the front, rear and sides and pull. The 370Z will transform into a Maxima. I know it is the truth because I saw it on television.

i agree with Mr. A. If you keep the jeep then go for the 370, if not grab a Maxima. You will appreciate the extra room!

Thank you for the advice so far guys, but how about how they drive? Are the smooth and quick or feel slow to the punch at highway speeds?

If you gotta have the Z, you could always get a beater daily driver in the future if the extra room is needed.

If you go on trips you almost have to get the max... That is if you want to bring more than 3 changes of clothes with you! I like the Z and I have driven several of them and they are a blast... but me personally I couldn't live with one as a daily driver... As a single, no kids, no pets guy I need more room than a Z offers!

Yes the Max is quick and plenty powerful as a daily driver ... if you need speed above 80mph it really falls off after 80

I was going to get the 370z Nismo, then decided to get the Maxima because I work and travel alot so I needed the space. It all comes down on whether you need room for people, items, and what not and can live without the excessive quickness. Personally speaking, The Maxima is more then enough car for me. I have drove plenty of fast cars, and I really enjoy the Maxima's ride and good looks. Idk, my 80-120 is pretty quick, but I upgraded a little bit that's why. Ultimately, if you can control yourself with going fast and reckless, get the Z. Now, if you need space, comfort, a decently quick sport sedan get the Maxima.

Both Ride Nice, but it depends on if you beat the car or not. I believe the Z last shorter if you beat that whip, they have a lot of issues with the transmission after a certain amount of miles.

Close your eyes, and breathe, whats the first thing that comes to your mind? Maxima or 370Z? That's your answer.

Maxima if you are looking to have something that does more than just a sports car type of thing like the Z. Just my two cents

Here it is in a nutshell; since you dumped the girl you probably could use a little fun in your life (besides the dog, that is) and having a car that is sporty so go with the Z.

It can attract the eyes of the ladies and there's a plus to that as well (it won't say I may have or have a family like a Maxima probably would) so if I were you I'd go with the Z.

Pros: Both look Awesome but the Maxima (especially hooked up) looks downright sexy.

Max, Pros= has better fuel economy, four doors instead of two (more room for the doggie and the future lady), did I mention it is a sexy looking car too?? More trunk room to boot.
Max, Cons=4 doors instead of two, less mods, less sporty feel, no racing heritage.

Z, Pros=Sporty, can be modded to at least 500HP or more so it would be mad fast. Z=looks great as well and has a legendary lineage. More mods available in terms of performance.
