Steering Vibration over 60Mph !

Since I got the car 6 months ago i have always felt a slight vibration in the steering wheel, do you guys expreincing the same vibration on 60 mph or more, the dealer checked the car and said that this is normal to maximas and to be honest this is driving me crazy

By the way I got factory 19" rims with original bridgestones

May sound stupid, but worth a shot cause it happened to me. Did anyone ever put Fix-A-Flat in the tires then not have them fixed? All 4 of mine had that crap in them and I had a wicked vibration over 60mph. Usually vibration points to an issue with tires/wheels.

The way I found the fix a flat in the tires is that my mechanic could not balance one wheel and it seemed like something was inside it cause he kept having to move the weight. So anyway, that might be worth a check for you as well before you spend a lot of money,

I tend to get a slight vibration for the first few miles, may be the tires warming up.

Mine drove smooth as silk until i lowered it, put the endlinks, RSB, and FTSB on. Then anything above 60 felt like driving on train tracks. New set of tires just arrived so hopefully today after the alignment/balance it'll be back to like it was.

Your not the only one, i have a very slight vibration between 60-80. I also have the 19s on my 09 SV/Sport. The tires are the orginial Goodyear RSAs, same type that came with the car new. Ive had my tires balanced to see if that would take care of the problem, but it didn't. I was told by a tire specialist that its just the tires. The two front are new. Guess ill have to deal with it. Its not too bad but its there.

One or more of your tires may have 'flat spots' was your car sitting for awhile or did you buy it used?

Mine is just fine. I have the 19" bought new. I had them put the RSA's on as I need All weather tires. And I didn't want to replace them after 10k miles.

If the weather is cold you can feel the flat spots on them for the first few miles. Other then that i know have 35K miles on them and they still have 60% tread on them according to the my mechanic. but I do rotate them every 7500 miles.

So that is not normal to have vibration. That is a balance or alignment issue

I had a similar issue with mine but that's when I found out two of my wheels were bent so I fixed and powder coated them. Wasn't looking into spending money in a new set of rims. O and I'd ditch the Bridgestone wheels. I love the Hankooks Ventus that I replaced them with. I noticed MPG improvement and road noise and handling too.
