Thinking of picking up one of these, but I've never dealt with any body shop on this type of mod. What should I expect in terms of cost to paint the lip + installation? I'm assuming they can install it a lot more quickly then I could.

Also, if you are located in NJ and can recommend a shop, I'm all ears.

 

I wanna get one of these to go on my car also. We should get a group buy going on possibly if we could get enough interest.

 

I live in NY and it cost me 150 for painting. Install is very easy. U don't Need body shop to install it for u unless u just feel like throwing money away

 

if they paint it separately when its off the body shouldn't be more than $200-$250 to prep it and paint it, if you take them the lip and need them to do everything I would say $300-$400 would be average. i agree with kmoney, its probably one of the easiest body pieces to install. and stillen makes things with quality and typically fit very nicely so you shouldn't have problems with fitments.

it would be harder than other products to get a group deal on a stillen product directly from stillen, unless another online distributor is reselling thier products at a marked up price.

 

Haha, we've been trying to do a group buy for the longest..yeah 300 with a shop by me for the painted lip and install. 100 to just paint it.

when I get it painted... how many layer of paint it should be ? I am not a paint expert but I want to make sure I ask the right question when getting quote to make sure they paint it nicely...

Kmoney will be doing my headlights so the lip is a must. Aldente67 if u get info on this in NJ let me know. the lip is like 250 and if we do a group buy, even better for me. i want a place that can paint my lip for a good price.

 

My boy hooked up the paint on my stillen lip for $75 bucks! My shop ordered my lip straight from stillen for $250 shipped

i have clear bra on my bumper.. is it ok if I just install the lip on top of it ?

 

For me it was 275 install with paint. Rear lip 125 paint and install without the 3m
