Question 2012 Max S and Sirius Radio

Ive recently traded in my Titan Pro-4X for a new 2012 Maxima S Limited Edition. Does anyone have a Sirius radio mounted in their Max, or can I upgrade my radio to the model that has XM built in?

I'll do that. I'd prefer a set up that can hide all my wires and I can tap into the aux plug and find a way to run power.

I'm also having a hard time finding a place to mount the antenna and hide that wiring.....

I'm trying to keep everything looking crisp and clean on the inside. Just can't seem to think of a way to do that right now!

HAHA.....I've done all that, just not on a max yet.

But I would look into the older xm unit "XM Commander" a completely hardwired unit. its great if you don't plan on taking the unit out of the car and using it somewhere else. Mount your antenna on your trunk for the cleanest install. I've done a few installs where I've actually mounted the antenna underneath the dash on vehicles that have a more angled windshield.

Hope that helps.

Sorry to bump this old thread, but if you already have a suscription in your household or in another vehicle there is an option to use the Sirius App on your phone. It is $3 a month. I am having a hard time getting used to the controls, but it was the easiest way to get satellite radio without clutter. I am also using Proclip, and another app for Navigation.
