Exclamation PLEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAASE HELP!!!!!!!!!

I got 2012 Nissan Maxima SV with halogen headlights, i been trying to convert my front blinkers into LED, that same blinker happens to be the parking light. After purchasing 3157 LED bulb and installing it into the place, every time parking light is turned on, the fuse for parking lights blew out. Blinkers still worked though. After putting in a fuse for 30w and trying it again the bulb melted. That socket had a resistor for 50 watts installed. if anyone got any tips on what else to do please let me know!
P.S: one of local tuning shops said to install a relay. not sure what that means though

Are the LEDs you bought CK wiring? If not, that would explain the issues you are having. Our cars have the less common CK wiring, so of you put a regular bulb in it you are effectively shorting the circuit.

thanks bro. it should have said "CK style" or something in the description of the item when you bought it (or on the packaging). something about where the metal leads on it are located the CK Style have em in the right place the other one will blow fuses

well i bought it from a place here in NY called 212Motoring. I even asked them if the bulb will work on a 7th gen maxima. They're considered the best tuning shop on the east coast so i thought they should know this thing but i guess i was wrong... lol. damn the search for bulbs continues...
P.S: also another question... do i have to install the resistor for both parking lights and blinkers?

nah just need resistor for turn signals, 3ohm if you do front/back LEDs for turns and 6ohm if you do just front or just backs

i recommend v-leds for LEDs, they're expensive but worth it

Thanks for all the help guys. In the end it was actually easier to buy new conventional sockets and install them then find ck style bulbs lol
