Nissan Emblem

Anyone know how to take off the center Nissan emblem on the steering wheel? I would like to paint it black to match. Im not sure if it has release pins behind it or?

i may be wrong but i think its part of the airbag assembly. i wouldnt tug on that too much

here's a pic of the underside. not sure if you got this all apart (without triggering the airbag) if there are clips you'd be able to access or if it'd all be a waste of time

Thanks bro I was hoping there would be a pic of what it looks like behind, I guess I will find an alternative to painting it/taking it off
