So I forgot I signed up here a few years ago when I was first in the market for a Maxima. Well it didn't work out back then yesterday I traded in my VW CC for a new 2012 Maxima SV with the premium and cold packages. So far so good! Love the car.

CC had 33k on it and already had a new ECM, DSG, fuel pressure sensor, and turbo installed. I did not want to take a chance with it after warranty expired.

Not surprised. VW's are not dependable. They are just like any other German car. They are notoriuos for burning oil too.

Well I'm back again. The nice folks at my dealership put a deep scratch in the panel just right of the rear driver side door. The body shop couldn't get it completely out so they bought back the car. Couldn't get the exact same car again as 2012's are limited. So I ended up with a Stone Grey '12 with the sport package and nav. Doesn't have the theft or puddle LED's but is fully loaded in my mind. This car seems quicker to shift and is getting better gas mileage already. The kicker out of the whole thing is that I got a better interest rate this time. I'll post up pictures tomorrow.

Here's the car. First one I've seen this color so I'm quite happy about it. For whatever reason, this one just feels faster. The shifting is crisper and the throttle response is much better.
