Also have "maxima" shaved off the trunk. Plasti dip logo. Next is eibach and grille and trying to eliminate chrome. Possibly paint the chrome pieces on the wheels white. Thoughts?

Yea a drop is def in the near future. Yea the pics arent good. Hopefully the new iPhone takes photos better. Oh yea I got 20% tints all around also. Haven't been pulled yet (knocks on wood)

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder...so glad you liek them...i got a white car and thats exactly the reason i dont like the black wheels on the white cars...sorry not being a hater here, just had that oponion all along... but dont listen to me- its your car and its what makes you like it is all that matters in the end!

 

it does look very tuner-ish, the maxima a35 deserves more refinement IMO.

but as long as owner is happy then it's money well spent.

I think a Chrome or White rim would work better on a white max. In my personal Opinion... back wheels on a white ride is hard to pull off..i tend to turn my head to the side trying to force my eyes to like.. but that's just my 2 cents... I love the White max!

I do agree. I'm a big fan of the wheels u got. Like I said I had these already from my g35 so I figured why not toss em on. I appreciate all feedback weather pos or neg. thinking about cracking my headlights from my g open and practicing some "kmoney" style paint scheme before I do my max.

BBMaxi are you on coil overs or just springs I just can't do coil overs in Pittsburgh not hill friendly.

look, the guy posted up his wheels and asked what people thought. just cause one guy doesn't like them doesn't mean he is "hating". people misuse that word all the fkin time now its lost meaning basically. if you dont want to hear negative comments about your stuff then dont post online asking for opinions. you dont hear me crying when people call my headlights disco lighting or whatever, i laugh that people dedicated a joke/meme to people with custom headlights its great.

what overall look you going for on the car? its hard to say right now cause the wheels look very dark and the black lips kinda "fade" into the tires and it makes the rims look smaller than they actually are. curious how it'd look with some more stuff blacked out (tastefully, if you plastidip your whole car i will refuse to post in your threads any longer ) and maybe with a little drop

 

Well if I decide to keep those wheels im going black grille maybe black out chrome. Paint the "Nissan" in the logos white. And the chrome pieces in the wheels are going white. Def eibach kit and front lip. And tint side markers and tails. Idk tho I'm still playing with ideas.

 

Personally I like the original wheels that came with the car and would spend money on items that improve the car, not cosmetics. Furthermore, I find better use for my money for a college fund or retirement. Anyone ever think long term?

 

There's better use for your money than buying a Maxima too, could have bought a Leaf. Since you bought an entry level luxury sedan it is implied you have some spending cash, otherwise youre probably living beyond your means.

 

I'm a grown single man with a good job and have my retirement plans in order. My extra money goes to things that I enjoy in life like my hobbies.

 

Consider yourself fortunate. Most Amercians have not saved enough for retirement.

PS When I see new pick-up trucks in front of trailer homes I cringe at the stupidity of those people.

 

Why in the world would Chrisman287 ride "the short bus" when he can drive his Maxima..? Riding "the short bus" implies that he is in grade school, underage (and immature), or mentally challenged. I see no support for any of these charges/implications. If he can drive, he is old enough to be out of grade school, mature since he can keep calm and not throw out insults like the person whom I quoted, and intelligent enough to learn and mod his car to be a very clean 96 Maxima.
Heck, I used to drive a 4th gen Maxima. Granted, it's not a 96 though. See sig for details. I still love that car, and in no way was it laughable to drive one.
