Making your own Carbon fiber interior parts

As anyone tried to make their own carbon fiber interior parts? I have been looking at some reviews about the aftermarket flat and molded dash kits and have been reading mixed reviews. I'm contemplating carbon wrapping most of the interior myself. What is your input?

I believe real. I've watched a couple videos that show using woven materials and hardener and sealer.

It's a lot harder than it looks, trust me. Time consuming too.

It doesn't have to be but if it is done in vacuum, it will be lighter and stronger. Not really necessary for interior pieces IMO.

I wouldnt mind doing the vinyl, I just dont want to pay 300 for the pre cut ones. All I want to do is the stero, door handles and center console.

You should definitely do it yourself then. The vinyl is easy to work with as long as you've got some heat. It should cost you well under $300.

My only concern is the radio. I might be mexican but my cutting skills are more slash/stab not precision exacto knife.

Practice on cereal boxes until you get the hang of it.
