This is just a wild guess...but the paint is likely over $75 each and install is probably another $25 (but I don't know what this involves).

I got these numbers based on a price I was quoted by Hyundai one time to paint my rear door handles which had broken. I think the door handle was $60 to paint...so i figure the lip is more, but not twice as much as a good bit of the cost is probably in setup.

I couldn't imagine it being less than $100 to paint an install, and anything over $150 seems way to high to me. BTW, this is for each, not both.

^ Says the man who cut two holes in his hood.. lol I'm not as daring as you.. installing it seems easy but i aint trying to paint it myself.. i've seen some crappy jobs out here.. + I've seen them chip when folks go cheap.

Just trying to see what the ball park is for that...

Maaco gave me a number but those guys suck

Ask your local Nissan service department who they use to paint replacement parts. Those guys will use OEM quality paints and it should be an exact match. As for the install...that's a whole 'nother story.

I would think that the install is fairly simple. No critical parts, and it just bolts/sticks/screws on, right? Maybe I'm missing something, but the install seems like something that would be pretty easy to do yourself. Getting it painted is the issue.

Never done this before, so, can someone tell me if I buy paint from Nissan how it comes? Is it in a bottle? A spray can? Just little touch-up bottles? I don't have s spray gun to get a professional finish, so I'm trying to decide if there's a good way to apply the paint yourself without the gun.

Nissan sells little bottles of touch-up paint. One side has a brush, the other side a tip like a ball-point pen. I don't think they sell it in volume for painting a part.

125 painted and put on- I used the dealer recommended auto body shop. I also used them for the rear roof wing and had them glue it on. Don't want the base to shake it off

Got mine painted and installed for $150 in NYC. I thought installing it would be hard but when I saw the body shop install it, I felt stupid

Can we please post some auto shops on Long Island, NY.

I was quoted 200 for Paint and Install or was it 200 for Paint and another 100 for install. I can't seem to remember!

Bought the lip and side rockers from Stillen's site during their most recent price drop ... plus 10% off. Don't remember exactly how much it cost.

I paid $275 for a shop to paint all three pieces. This included washing, sanding, primer, 3 coats base, 3 coats clear. Only thing I had to do was re-tape them then install. They offered to do the install for free, but they told me they wouldn't guarantee it sticking to the car.

I installed the lip myself. Still have to install the side rockers.

I paid $130 for a shop to paint my lip. Got quotes up to $400 from some idiots.

I called my local Maaco shop and they quoted me $130 for the lip and $300 for the lip and side skirts.

Based on what I've read around here, that quote is on the lower side of the scale. I'd go with that unless you got a hook-up that will give you better.

I wouldn't get stuff painted by MAACO. That's like the fast food of paint shops.
